This 16th century semi-detached farmhouse was completely rebuilt in 1988 and is in a desirable location in the heart of the vibrant village with its good selection of cafes, restaurants, pubs and surf shops. The nearby surf washed beaches of Saunton and Croyde are a short trip by car or regular buses (which stop nearby). Saunton has a cafe and shop and you can also hire a beach hut for the day.

The Farmhouse oozes character with stone flooring in the hallway, kitchen and dining room, thick cob walls and oak beams. The living room features a wood burning stove and in addition to comfortable sofas there is access out to the rear patio area. The outside area is enclosed and here you can sit out and enjoy a barbecue and drinks. The L-shaped kitchen is well equipped and has a large range style cooker ideal for preparing evening meals when not out at one of the local eateries. The property has a downstairs cloakroom.

 

The stairs curve round leading up to the landing with sloping ceiling, complete with skylights. A wooden floored corridor leads to the three spacious bedrooms. Two bedrooms have King size beds and the third bedroom has twin beds. Bedroom one has steps down to an en suite shower room. The family bathroom is just across the landing down a few steps and has a tiled floor, bath (no shower attachment), basin, heated towel rail and WC.

With the combination of character, facilities and location, this is a great holiday home.

Cloakroom with WC and basin. First Floor: Bedroom 1 with King, music system and ensuite shower room with shower, WC and basin. Bedroom 2 with King. Bedroom 3 with Twin. Bathroom with bath (no shower attachment), heated towel rail, WC and basin.

 

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Gas CH. Wi-Fi Broadband. No smoking. Regret no pets, however please note that owners have their own pet so may not suit guests with allergies. 2 highchairs, booster seat. Travel cot. Garden furniture. Barbecue. Allocated parking for 1 car. Limited on street parking available. No short breaks available. £100 refundable security deposit. 3pm arrival time Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
