The Smithy was once the former Blacksmith's home and workshop for the nearby 17th century Broadwell Farm. The house has retained many of its original features including the flagstone floor in the kitchen. Situated in the pretty Cotswold village of Broadwell, this self catering cottage has an award-winning pub, The Fox, within walking distance, which sits on the village green and serves excellent food.

This holiday cottage has been designed to create a relaxing and tranquil base from which to enjoy the many delights that this area has to offer. Perfect for an outdoor break, enjoy its peaceful garden, or for the more energetic, explore the numerous surrounding walks.

Ample opportunities to enjoy some lovely walks through the beautiful countryside.

In close proximity are the picturesque Cotswold towns of Bourton-on-the-Water, Burford and Stow-on-the-Wold which all offer a wealth of charming shops, restaurants and pubs.

The Slaughters and The Barringtons are two quintessential, quiet Cotswold villages nearby, with uninterrupted country views over the Windrush Valley and some pretty footpaths and bridle paths.

The increasingly popular 6 week Festival Opera in June and July held in the village of Longborough is well worth a trip.
