With spectacular views of rolling hills across the large millpond, Mill Cottage provides elegant accommodation for up to six people. Stow-on-the-Wold is only a mile away and the area is rich in historic houses and gardens as well as being an excellent location for both walking and cycling, with national trails right from the door.

Mill Cottage is well located for the nearby market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the Water and Moreton-in-Marsh, all of which have fine shops, galleries, restaurants and delicatessens. Daylesford Organic Farm Shop and the spa town of Cheltenham are only short drives away.

Idyllic location. Loved the quirkiness and age of the property. Kitchen excellent We found the property cosy and bedroom and bathroom facilities great. Our first stay but we will be back. The outlook from the conservatory on to the lake with swans and wild fowl added to the idyll. Service provided by Rural Retreats and thoughtfulness of hamper provided on arrival with local produce also excellent and ample for us to enjoy during our stay.

Beautiful cottage with traditional feel and features and a spectacular outdoors. We loved opening the doors each morning and seeing the ducks and swans, really beautiful!

This is the most beautiful of cottages in a quiet location. The pond made it ideal for canoeing. The wildlife spotted was great - even wild deer.
