This holiday at a glance
Well-equipped and comfortable accommodation, and largely peaceful, though the fact that it is semi-detached means that there is some noise to be heard from next door (television, for instance). Its relative proximity to the A road also means that there is the usual scourge of motorbike noise from time to time. However, it is possible to walk extensively from the door and so escape the madding crowds. There is another holiday let beyond the cottage we were in, which we were not aware of in advance. This is generally something we would avoid but it was not mentioned on the website. Fortunately we weren't inconvenienced by the occupants of the other cottage but it should be pointed out that the picnic table that is pictured in the details of the Tractor Shed is in fact shared with the other accommodation.
A relaxing & peaceful retreat with everything you could need. Walks from the door, rural views, starry skies and a lovely warm cottage to come back to. A high standard of decoration with a very generous welcome hamper of cheese, wine, biscuits, ground coffee, butter, bread, juice, eggs, milk, marmalade, fruit including a pineapple!! The owners were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and they were close by if anything was needed. Our six days passed far too quickly and we hope to return
Perfect in all respects. 😃
