Front garden with patio and garden furniture. 1 small dog welcome. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Perfect for couples wanting to get away from it all, Swallows Nest has all of the comforts of home and is an ideal place to stay in all seasons for a romantic retreat. Take long leisurely walks together in the countryside pop down to the pub for lunch or cosy up in front of the log burner.
Beautifully renovated, the kitchen, dining area, snug and living area are all one open-plan space on the ground floor. With stunning scenic views from the large picture window at the back of the property, it makes for a perfect place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee. Upstairs you will find a cosy bedroom with en-suite and a lovely balcony door with steps that lead down into the garden.
Bibury is a charming, typically Cotswold village and was once described by William Morris as "the most beautiful village in England". Take a leisurely stroll along the river and see the cottages of Arlington Row that are often referred to as the most photographed and beautiful cottages in the country or visit one of the tea rooms or the trout farm.

Beautiful location with 2 min access to large field, perfect for dog walking, and a wonderful view from the property.Very spacious feel for 2 people and a dog.Walking distance to centre, interesting trout farm, river walk and famous cottage row ( crowded with tourists at peak day times and extremely peaceful off peak ).Ideal for days out to other Cotswold locations. We enjoyed Cirencester.Catherine Wheel pub 2 mins away with good food and ales.Twig deli 1 min further is expensive but worth it……. especially the sourdough bread and the sausage rolls.Very quiet and relaxing if staying put but some travelling required for the restless.Would recommend and return.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Swallow Cottage. Owner Jacqueline was very helpful and is undertaking a schedule of work to make it even better. The open plan living/dining/kitchen area is surprisingly spacious, has plenty of light and a good view. The bathroom is small, but has everything needed unless you prefer a bath, and benefits from under floor heating. The bed is very large and comfortable. No wardrobe but his 'n her hanging rails do the job. Highly recommended.
