This delightful 300 year old cottage is set over three floors and is full of character. Enter the cottage straight into the beautifully furnished open plan living area and sense the cosy, comfortable feeling that is felt throughout. With a wood burner warming the whole room on the cooler evenings and also making the cottage ideal for stays throughout the year this cottage has a sense of history that can be felt and enjoyed whilst experiencing the modern comforts of today. There are two bedrooms here with the double being on the second floor and the single on the first where the bathroom is also located. Step outside into the narrow winding streets and immediately you will enjoy and experience what makes Mevagissey such a popular and loved destination. Within two minutes’ walk you will find yourself on the inner harbour, always busy with a mixture of privately owned, charter and fishing boats where the atmosphere is always there to experience. Fishing trips can be arranged from here and there is also a ferry to the nearby beautiful, historic bustling port and town of Fowey, making an excellent day trip. In Mevagissey itself the narrow streets are a delight, lined with many gift shops, craft workshops, galleries, cafés and historic traditional pubs. As you would expect given the location there are a number of excellent fish restaurants and of course, everybody's favourite, fish and chips. With so many leading attractions such as the Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan so close by as well as several fishing villages, small coves and beaches which Cornwall is famous for, Kips Cottage is a great location for a special holiday whatever time of year.

The perfect Cornish fishing village, with winding cobbled streets and a picturesque harbour full of boats. Stunning walks lead along the coast in both directions, with sandy beaches, high cliffs and hidden coves to explore. The village has an excellent selection of pubs and restaurants, whilst just up the road are the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A ferry from Mevagissey to Fowey also runs daily between Easter and September.
