Pink Flamingo is a large one-of-a-kind family cottage located just outside the town of Looe in a quiet private road overlooking the sea.

Bring the family along to take in the spectacularly relaxing views and enjoy the cottage's spacious interior, which comprises four big bedrooms and three bathrooms. Start your day sipping coffee and watching the sun rise over the sea in the light and airy front conservatory. The large but cosy country kitchen offers a working AGA oven for those autumn, winter and early spring holidays and plenty of cupboard space and modern conveniences to make your stay enjoyable. The spacious lounge has picture windows looking out over the beautiful bay and two extremely comfortable reclining leather sofas ideal for putting your feet up and watching a movie after a fun day on the beach. For those cold evenings there is a fire to provide a warm cosy atmosphere. A separate dining room offers more breathtaking views. Thoughtfully designed throughout, the accommodation provides 2 large ground floor bedrooms - 1 double with a TV and 1 twin. Downstairs there is also 1 bathroom, a large shower room and a laundry room with a washer/dryer. Two more comfy bedrooms are found upstairs; 1 double with a TV/DVD and a shower room and one bunk room with more beautiful views. A further big bathroom with a corner bath is also upstairs. The front and back gardens are large and easily accommodate seating front and back for everyone. The back garden is enclosed to keep children and dogs in! There is a games cupboard with different garden games and beach toys for the children and young at heart. If you ever want to leave the cottage you can reach the beach in a matter of minutes. There are 2 beaches (Plaidy and Sanders Beaches) within a couple of minutes walking distance both of which are dog friendly all year round and are excellent for rock pooling, crabbing and beach combing. Swimming is great fun at Plaidy Beach when the tide is out as it exposes a large bank of sand so stays shallow a long way out. Looe beach and Looe town is an easy ten minute walk along the coast path which is picked up outside the front door of the cottage! The sandy Looe Beach connects to the pier, a very popular trip out for families because of its safe shallow swimming and vast expanse of sand. There is lots to do in Looe including crabbing, canoeing and boat trips to see Looe Island. West Looe has a discovery centre, and delightful Kilminorth Woods, whilst aside from the beach and activities in this part of Cornwall, many mining remains on Bodmin Moor and in the Tamar Valley are just waiting to be explored. An experience not to be missed!

The fishing port of Looe is in two parts - East Looe and West Looe. East Looe with its quay area is connected to quieter West Looe by a 19th century bridge. East Looe offers narrow cobbled streets, twisting alleyways and plenty of tourist shops, whilst West Looe has an outlook across the harbour. Bodmin Moor and the Tamar Valley are close by, as well as sandy beaches, National Trust properties, and further afield is Plymouth.

Please note that there is a separate owner's flat attached to the property which is usually vacant but which is sometimes let to family and friends.
