Guests say

Pheasant Cottage offers a peaceful and quiet retreat, ideal for families and groups seeking a relaxing break. Guests consistently praise the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation, as well as the friendly and responsive host. The swimming pool and outdoor games are popular highlights, especially for children. While the location is tranquil and surrounded by wildlife, some guests note that the property feels smaller than expected and suggest improvements to outdoor maintenance and facilities. Overall, it provides a comfortable base for exploring the area or enjoying a restful stay.

The interior of the cottage is frequently described as very clean and comfortable. However, some guests mention that the outdoor areas, including barbecues and pool, could benefit from a deeper clean and more regular maintenance.

The location is widely appreciated for its tranquillity, peacefulness, and beautiful natural surroundings, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway or fishing trips. Its remoteness is noted, with limited activities nearby.

Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable, suitable for families and longer stays. Some mention that the space feels smaller than expected and highlight minor issues such as broken locks and lighting.

The swimming pool, table tennis, and table football are well received, especially by families. However, there are comments about the fridge being too small for six people, some maintenance issues (e.g., broken locks, non-functional hot tub), and outdoor facilities needing attention.

Guests note the absence of a welcome pack and information about appliances or local amenities. While the host is described as friendly and helpful, gifts or welcome packs are not mentioned and cannot be guaranteed.

The team at the cottage is very friendly and very responsive. The cabin is nice but feels smaller than it seems in the pictures. The pool is fantastic with good temperature of the water, however the hot tub seemed non functional. there is table tennis and table football which was a very pleasant surprise. Overall, I would recommend the location for a very quite stay. it is remote with not much to do in the vicinity
