As you step through the back door, you will be greeted by the timeless beauty of original oak beams and stone floors. All rooms have original period features with some hidden surprises! The heart of the home is the well-equipped shaker kitchen, fitted with a kitchen island and beautiful lighting. The adjoining dining room is a delight with its exposed beams and original fireplace. An Alexa Smart speaker is also in this room to set the mood for dinner. The living room is where you can relax with comfortable period seating , a modern TV and French doors opening out onto the patio and garden area. Upstairs there are the beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own distinct character and charm. The master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite, the other two bedrooms have a double bed and a twin room with en-suite with a bath and shower cubicle. In the Old Milking Parlour, you will find a games room with seating!
One of the many highlights of this property is its close walking proximity to all of the historic places in Ely. Ely Cathedral, Oliver Cromwell’s House and the market, are all within a 5-minute walk. The beautiful riverside area is a 10-minute walk away and is highly recommended by the owner, as is a tour of Ely Cathedral with its famous Octagon Tower, and if you have a head for heights, take a tour up the spiral staircases onto the roof with its fantastic views.

The cottage was perfect for our stay in Ely visiting family. Great access for parking multiple vehicles and very walkable to the village. A little difficult to find due to the address being similar to the neighbors. We will absolutely stay again when in Ely. Staff was very responsive to our needs.

We had a fabulous stay in Cathedral View Farmhouse. The cottage is really well equipped and very clean. It's a very interesting cottage with a few surprises as you go round. There was a lovely welcome pack, really generous. The games room was a popular feature and we found loads to do in Ely.

Wonderful location near the cathedral in Ely - spacious bedrooms, amazing kitchen, fenced outdoor space (great for 4 legged family members!) and off-street parking. A 'must stay' again location!
