Ely, 6 miles, occupying the largest island in the Fens, has a history dating back to Hereward the Wake and later, Oliver Cromwell. Its superb 11th century cathedral is surrounded by monastic buildings, medieval gateways and narrow streets leading down to the marina and river walks. King’s Lynn and Cambridge are easily accessible. Shops, riverside inns and restaurants at Littleport, 3 miles.. All properties: Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and Highchair. Shared laundry room with two washer/dryers. Shared undercover courtyard and furniture. Shared covered barbecue area with gas barbecue. Parking. Shared indoor heated swimming pool 7m x 3m, depth 1.2m, open all year 9am - 7pm (private use by arrangement between 7pm - 9pm) with changing room, shower cubicle and toilet. No smoking.

Put the address into Google maps and it takes you straight to the door!Beautiful huge bungalow! 3 mummy's plus 6 children, 10m, 2y, 3y, 6y, 6y, 6y. A lovely weekend away. It really is huge, so long and loads of space. 4 bedrooms, dining room, kitchen diner and lounge the other end, lots of space to spread out. Kids loved being able to run around and not worry about making noise as it's detached. Good quality furniture throughout and plenty of seating which was great. Loads of toys and books for the children to use. Highchair, travel cot with mattress plus baby chair. Owners have thought of it all.Really clean throughout. The garden is nice but couldn't let children out alone as wasn't enclosed. We had a nice walk around and made a den with sticks we found around. Kids loved scooting up the driveway. Owner seems lovely, popped out to say hi as we were passing and asked if all okay and said to knock on if any issues. Play area was nice, although as it's been such a wet winter, there's loads of stinging nettles around the area. Pool - air around is cool but pool is comfortable to swim in. Doors don't close to the toilet and changing room. Hot tub was empty so couldn't use.A few floats and toys available to use which was nice. We stayed on site until leaving on the Sunday afternoon (needed to be back for school on Monday), was lovely just spending time in the house, swimming and being outside in the garden and playarea. Feedback - would have been nice to have tea, coffee, sugar provided. There's no welcome book telling you about the house, pool, local area etc. Bathroom needs a lock on it for privacy. Need a colander, the sieve was tiny.Bath towels are small, need bath sheets instead.Overall a lovely weekend, would highly recommend staying here it's so quiet and lovely.
