The interiors pair stone and wood with a softer Nordic influence, creating spaces that feel refined without being formal. A large living room sits alongside the fully equipped kitchen, while each of the four bedrooms has its own bathroom, giving every guest a sense of privacy. Outside, the south-facing garden is made for long days outdoors, with a large saltwater swimming pool, lawned areas, a shaded pergola for dining and a barbecue area for easy lunches and dinners.

From the house, Castell d’Empordà, a historic hamlet centred around its medieval castle, is around a 15-minute walk away, while the town of La Bisbal d’Empordà and some of the Empordà’s best-known villages are only a short drive away. The coast is also within easy reach, giving guests at plenty of options for days spent exploring before heading back to the peaceful comfort of Casa Bisbal. 

Casa Bisbal sits just outside Castell d’Empordà, surrounded by farmland in a quiet part of the Baix Empordà. Castell d’Empordàis a hamlet centred around a medieval castle, giving the area a strong sense of history, while the wider landscape is made up of gently rolling countryside, small roads and rural tracks that are well suited to walking and cycling.

La Bisbal d’Empordà is only a short drive away and is one of the main cultural centres of the region, particularly known for its ceramics, independent shops, historic centre and local restaurants. Its heritage includes the Castell Palau, a Romanesque palace-castle dating from the 11th and 12th centuries.  

From Casa Bisbal, guests are also well placed for exploring some of the best-known villages of the Baix Empordà, including Peratallada, Pals and Monells, before heading on to the Costa Brava for beach days and coastal walks. Platja del Racó is a great option for an afternoon at the beach, with plenty of restaurants and watersport outlets to keep everyone fed and entertained.
