Mas Foixa sits in the countryside outside Foixà, a small Baix Empordà village surrounded by farmland, woodland and traditional masias. The municipality is made up of several small historic settlements, including the old village around Foixà Castle, which enjoys broad views across the Empordà plain.
It is an excellent base for exploring the quieter inland side of the Costa Brava, whether by bike, on foot or by car. Medieval villages, country roads and local restaurants are all within easy reach, while the coast is around 25 minutes away.
For beach days, guests can head towards L’Escala and Empúries, where the coastline ranges from long sandy beaches to smaller coves, or south towards L’Estartit, with its broad beach overlooking the Medes Islands.
