Ullà itself sits immediately beside this varied landscape of mountain, river plain and coast.

Routes lead from the village towards the Montgrí massif and its medieval castle, while the wider area is also well suited to cycling and exploring by car. Torroella de Montgrí is just a couple of minutes away for shops, restaurants and everyday essentials.
For beach days, L’Estartit is approximately 8 km away, with a long sandy beach and shallow water backed by the Montgrí landscape. The Medes Islands sit just offshore and are a major draw for boat trips, diving and snorkelling. L’Escala is also within easy reach, adding another choice of beaches, restaurants and coastal walks.
