Lorrha is a quiet village so was great to recharge the batteries. The owners were incredibly helpful, and went above and beyond to help us get some logs for our firepit. They recommended things to do in the local community also. The surrounding area is beautiful, especially loved the swimming area at Portumna. The back garden was perfect for our dog Pepper (even though she didnât like the donkeys, but thankfully the donkeys just ignored her!) The house was beautiful and had everything we needed for our holiday.

From entering the front door to turning the key it was perfect. Cleanliness was outstanding, with everything you could think off provided and for us a cozy open fire for the weather we had was the icing on the cake. The garden was totally dog proofed for our little Gizmo so he had a blast. The village itself was peaceful and quiet while the friendly welcome in the Community Shop was most enjoyable. It catered for those bits and bobs you just donât want to go to a supermarket for. Ideally located for sightseeing, gardens and castles and beautiful walks I cannot praise this little cottage highly enough. We would definitely stay again!!
