I have always found it difficult to find suitable walks within a reasonable distance. This was by far the best place I have stayed in for the dogs. Every walk I found from canal walks, to forest walks was within a twenty minute drive. This made my stay so much easier. The locals are so friendly and the community shop ladies are so helpful you will feel part of their community during your stay. This holiday was so good I have booked for another stay in September. Highly recommend. The cottage is well equipped and spotless, and the landlord very helpful and friendly. The garden is secure and safe which is a must when you have dogs.

It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful rural part of Ireland. There is much to see in Lorrha, steeped in history and the surrounding towns of Portumna and Nenagh. The cottages are clean, comfortable and retain their historic charm with fires to make the winter evenings cosy and welcoming. Roland is a great host and nothing was too much trouble. We'll be back. Would highly recommend.

I was unfortunate to be able to take my two dogs away to Tipperary for a holiday. Though we left our dogs in good hands whilst we were away we made the most of the 10 days enjoying the beautiful countryside that Tipperary offered. The Courthouse is central to most places to visit. Take a map so you can see the Lochs, walks, places to visit. The owners (Donald and Pauline) are very nice couple and are helpful to recommend places to visit and eat out. If you take your car from Dublin there are two tolls to pay via cash or card and the M50 is an online payment.
