    About this property

This light and airy, detached Bull Bay cottage boasts breathtaking views over the beach and glistening bay, located in the heart of the village, just 1 mile from Amlwch on the picturesque Anglesey coast. Min Y Traeth, which is Welsh for 'edge of the beach', really lives up to its name, commanding prime position on the waterfront, and has been lovingly refurbished and styled with a nautical coastal theme. This Bull Bay cottage features two lovely ground floor bedrooms with en-suite facilities, a well-equipped kitchen and a welcoming sitting room with porthole windows and sliding patio doors onto a lovely balcony with glass balustrade overlooking the cove, where you can relax in the sunshine, watching the world go by and perhaps even see a porpoise playing in the bay. Benefiting from two pub/restaurants within five minutes' walk, a superb golf course less than a third of a mile away, and a beach with slipway opposite the cottage, this welcoming Bull Bay cottage is perfectly located to enjoy fun-packed days in this beautiful part of Anglesey. The 125 mile Anglesey Coastal Path runs through the village and beckons walkers all year round, while the less energetic can enjoy peaceful days in complete natural beauty, just exploring the local coastline and deserted coves. This is the perfect Bull Bay cottage for friends and families to enjoy all year round.

Situated on the Northern coast of the Isle of Anglesey is the pretty seaside village of Bull Bay. The scenery around Bull Bay is stunning as is the nearby island of East Mouse, which sits within the bay and has rockpools which are perfect for shrimping and crabbing. Bull Bay also offers two hotels with restaurants and bars and a superb golf course. Close to the village is the famous Anglesey Coastal Path and just 1.5 miles away is the small, harbour town of Amlwch which boasts shops, bars and a market every Friday. Nearby is the Parys Mountain, where the Copper Mine Trail Walk is worth a visit. Also within driving distance is the historic town of Beaumaris, which has a stunning 13th century castle, museums, shops, pubs and restaurants. Bull Bay is a perfect base to explore the many attractions, towns and villages Anglesey has to offer.

"It's a beautiful little house. Can easily fit 4 people. The views are great. It's lovely and quiet. We were met by Anne and Mike which was really nice. If you want night life and busy towns close by,it's not for you. Although nothing is far away! Loads of beautiful bays to explore ect......"

"We loved this place. I remember sitting outside it last year without any thought of hiring it. It must have stuck in my mind because when looking for a place to stay it immediately jumped to the top of the list. We were a couple of days late owing to a family emergency but the Curwens accommodated us happily. The cottage was everything it promised to be, It was great to sit on the balcony, having breakfast watching the sea. (the view is delightful) It was an ideal base for our adventures. As a treat we allowed ourselves dinner at the Lobster Pot at Church Bay. A fabulous dinner, well worth the money. It was comfortable, well equipped and very clean and tidy. The only down side was no wifi, happily the pub up the road has it, so win win, wifi and a beer. I would recommend this cottage wholeheartedly. We are hoping to retire to Anglesey ( Bull Bay in particular) soon and would use this cottage as a base for house hunting. Thank you for a great stay."
    Mrs Lynne Lewis, Leicester, Leicestershire

"This house is set in a stunning location with the sea view straight in front of you, and as the lounge is upstairs you can watch the boats, wildlife etc. The kitchen is very well equipped and didn't seem to be missing anything that we needed. A very relaxing place to stay and so peaceful too. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends."

Ms Lin Dormand, Manchester, Greater Manchester
"Everything was wonderful and exceptionally clean. The owners have anticipated everything that guests might need, as well as things they might not need..but would appreciate! A resounding 10 out of 10."
    Miss Christine Collins, Buckley, Flintshire
"Location - directly facing Bull Bay was perfect, sitting on the balcony watching the sea. The property was in a perfect location for touring the island. A wonderful relaxing holiday!"
    - Mrs Vaughan, September 2018
"Lots to see each day including, seals and porpoises jumping in amongst the waves. Only downside was that the bed was only a double not a king size and it was far to soft but not enough to spoil the holiday. Owners were very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Thinking of rebooking again in the new year,"
    - Mrs Wilson, October 2018
"It was exactly what I hoped for. Nothing between us and the sea in the quiet, quaint bay. The house is beautiful and all the sea touches make it feel as though you're on a boat. Lovely and warm and clean, Mike and Ann meet you and give you lots of local information. The perfect retreat to recharge your batteries with the added advantage that you have all of Anglesey on your doorstep. But if I had never moved from the house I still could of looked at the sea all day. Best holiday home we've ever ..."
    - Mrs Wilkes, September 2018

"This is a little gem of a place in Bull Bay on the island of Anglesey. When we arrived we wers greeted by Mr and Mrs Curwen who own the property - such lovely people who made us feel most welcome. They had even bought our son a bag of chocolates as a welcolme gift. The veiw was mind blowing from the balcony, and even though it is in a small village there was always something to watch or do. The accomodation was lovely and clean and most welcoming. Our son who has autism and learning disabilities settled so well as he liked it that much which meant we had a fab time. A lovely walk along the cliff tops each evening was had and we saw the porpoises in the bay. So sorry to come home today."
    - Mrs Tait, September 2018
"One of our best choices ever...mesmerising views so amazing. All we needed and more. Luverly owners. 99.9% for all. One comment sadly but a mere detail. Needs a good overall dust....can live with that though. Many thanks to all. The TAITstaff. 9/9/18"

Sea views from the balcony were a terrific bonus with plenty going on in the bay. A very pleasant holiday cottage with a seaside theme throughout, with a real holiday feel. One of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in."

Min y traeth was so homely, everything you could think of needing was there plus more. This was important as our son is autistic with learning disabilities and he fitted in just like we was at home. The location is stunning and the view from the house was amazing - straight over the beach where you could watch herons, porpoises and the local fishermen and rowing teams going around their business. We will without a doubt be booking again."

"This delightful self catering holiday let is situated at the end of Bull Bay with fantastic views across the sea. The cottage is very well equipped and there is an instant homely feel as soon as you walk in. The seaside theme is present throughout with superb attention to detail in every room. The owners could not give a warmer welcome on arrival. We had the most fantastic weather whilst staying for a week and did many coastal walks and cycling of the Copper Trail from the front door. There are plenty of superb places to see including Beaumaris, Newborough and South Stack to name just a few. This is undoubtedly the most relaxing cottage we have stayed at for location, amenities and views. Would recommend"
