Make your way up the original exterior steps and enter into the warm and welcoming space of the quaint hallway where you can take off your coats and boots after an exhilarating walk in the countryside, before freshening up with a rejuvenating shower in chic ground-floor wet room with stylish white subway tiles and contrasting dark grout, as well as a traditional basin and WC.

Put on your comfiest clothes and head into the delightful country kitchen with beautiful cream units and discover an array of appliances as well as a magnificent range cooker, where you can create marvelous meals as you crack open a bottle of wine and dine at the spacious table whilst sharing your most memorable moments from the holiday so far. Retire to the sitting room placing a log to burn on the woodburning stove as you kick back and relax on the sofa and admire the quirky chrome bulls head that hangs from the beautiful stone-exposed fireplace. Snuggle up with your significant other as you turn on the Smart TV and search for a gripping movie that you both can enjoy as you snack on some treats and while away an hour or two.

As you begin to slip into a sleepy state, climb the staircase up to the first floor and navigate your bedroom for the evening. There are two well-decorated bedrooms to choose from; the first of the bedrooms features a roomy double bed and ample storage, finished with a stunning chrome ceiling light and handy bedside table. The second of the bedrooms is home to high ceilings and a pretty single bed with an additional trundle to create a double bed for flexible sleeping arrangements. On this first floor you will also find a ultra-sleek bathroom with a magnificent chrome roll top bath with floating hand basin and WC, where you can pamper yourself with a deep soak and some time out from the excitement before taking your time to dress yourself for an evening of romance as you wine and dine in the local eatery.

Close to the River Derwent, you can enjoy plenty of riverside strols from the property, or head into the neighbouring village of Rowsley, where you can delight in a romantic meal for two at the Grouse and Claret as you share a bottle of their finest wine and reminisce holidays of the past. Spend the morning exploring the grounds of the Medieval Haddon Hall before crossing the historical Bakewell Bridge into the centre of the charming Bakewell town and grabbing a coffee and some cake at one of the local cafes. Explore the imposing mansion of Chatsworth House and Chatsworth Gardens, just over the other side of the river.
