Guests say

Guests consistently praise 2 Seaview Cottages for its cosy charm, cleanliness, and superb location opposite the beach. The host, Graham, is commended for his helpfulness. While some mention low ceilings and the occasional maintenance issue, the overall sentiment is one of a peaceful, comfortable retreat with a well-equipped kitchen and the added bonus of a log burner for a cosy atmosphere.

Reviews frequently highlight the high standard of cleanliness, with the property being described as spotless and well-presented. Only one mention of mould suggests an isolated incident rather than a common concern.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and quiet setting. The convenience of a nearby train station is also appreciated, enhancing the property's appeal.

The majority of guests find the cottage comfortable, noting the cosy beds and warm atmosphere. However, a few comments about uncomfortable sofas and the chilliness of a twin bedroom slightly affect the score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and the charm of a log burner. Some minor maintenance issues like low water pressure and a broken toilet seat are noted, indicating room for improvement.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the host. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and great to be able to light a fire on a cold February evening. Would definitely recommend to friends and hope to return.

The central heating was generously set in the cold weather and we really appreciated that. Two minor points: the lock on the front door was really stiff and difficult to operate (my partner managed but I had difficulty ongoingly); secondly I was roasting in bed (beside the cupboard with the hot water tank in). The radiator was off and the windows open. What might have helped a little - 100% cotton bedlinen. Unusual not to find it provided (tho it was a fab design!)

Bed's really comfortable but sofas not so. The only thing missing is a nonslip mat in the shower. We had a wonderful holiday and will return. We did however have trouble with getting into the property and waited for an hour outside for the owner.
