When tummies start to rumble, the kitchen has everything needed to create delicious food for the holiday party with a dining table all ready for guests to sit down and tuck in.
A fantastic alternative space to socialise is the games room which is tucked away on the top floor, a surefire hit with the kids! At bedtime, visitors can choose from the master king-size with en-suite or a well-presented twin, both offering a restful sanctuary after a busy day. If the sun is shining then the outside space comes into its own, giving children and pets space to run around with patio furniture in position to allow the adults to recline in peace and enjoy time al fresco. Eva’s Cottage is in the perfect location to explore the delights of the region with the Cotswolds on the doorstep as well as gorgeous countryside perfect for walks and wildlife spotting.
Jump in the car for a day out to Stratford-upon-Avon or visit National Trust Upton House and Gardens, Spiceball Country Park, Priory Park or Charlecote Park. A picture postcard cottage in a stunning location, a holiday at Eva’s Cottage won’t disappoint.
The pretty coastal village of Avoch overlooks Avoch Bay and is situated on the south side of the area, known as The Black Isle, in the magical Scottish Highlands. Once a busy fishing village, today it is home to many pleasure crafts and this gives the village a relaxed holiday atmosphere. The narrow streets run at right angles to the shore, with their pretty stone cottages and excellent local facilities, including shops, pubs and hotels. From the quaint harbour, there are daily sailing trips out onto the waters of the Moray Firth where dolphins thrive in abundance. Avoch is also well situated for touring the area and exploring the many villages along the Moray Firth coastline. From this central location, Loch Ness, Inverness, Skye and the Cairngorm National Park are all within a pleasant drive, making Avoch an excellent base for discovering this beautiful corner of Scotland.
