Set within the Northumberland National Park, the cottage sits in the grounds of the owner’s 650-acre working farm, making this a picturesque and tranquil setting with walking opportunities in abundance. Elsdon is a peaceful village with a friendly local pub serving good food, set near Otterburn, which has two famed wedding venues and a friendly pub/restaurant. For a wider array of amenities, nearby supermarkets do deliver, or take a trip to Bellingham, just 9 miles away.

We had a great time at Spindle well barn, ideal location to drive to the coast, kielder water or Hadrian’s wall - alternatively you can just enjoy the secluded location and wait for the stars to come out. The dark sky location is spectacular.The guys who run the cottage Jo and James were extremely welcoming and helpful.Ideal place to take a break and recharge the batteries
