Guests say

The Coach House is a charming and cosy cottage set in a stunning, peaceful location with beautiful valley views. Guests consistently praise its comfort, well-equipped facilities, and the warm, helpful welcome from the owners. The proximity to excellent local pubs, especially The Hand, is a highlight. The cottage is ideal for walkers and those seeking a tranquil getaway. While most reviews are highly positive, a few mention minor maintenance and cleaning issues, and the rural setting means narrow roads and limited nearby shops. Overall, it offers a delightful and relaxing retreat in the Welsh countryside.

The majority of guests found the cottage very clean and well-presented, with several describing it as immaculate. However, one review noted dust and a need for some TLC, which slightly lowers the score.

The location is widely praised for its scenic beauty, tranquillity, and excellent walking opportunities. The proximity to two quality pubs is a bonus. Some guests mention the remoteness and narrow roads, but these are generally seen as part of the rural charm.

Guests frequently describe the cottage as cosy, comfortable, and well-suited for a relaxing break. The beds and furnishings receive positive comments, and the peaceful setting enhances the sense of comfort.

The cottage is repeatedly described as well-equipped, with everything needed for a self-catering stay, including kitchenware, games, books, and a log burner. A few minor maintenance issues are mentioned but do not detract significantly from the overall experience.

Many guests highlight the owners' helpfulness, such as contacting guests before arrival and providing travel advice. Some mention thoughtful touches like heating on arrival and available tea and coffee, but as gifts are not guaranteed, future guests should not expect them.

Had a lovely stay at the Coach. Especially loved the view and having 2 lovely pubs so close.

The coach house was everything we needed for a relaxing break, the owner contacted us before our visit to see if we needed any help, which was very thoughtful, the village was very friendly and welcoming too. The food and service at both pubs was excellent. Looking forward to returning in the warmer months.
