An ideal base to explore Chipping Campden, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold, all an easy drive, as well as Cheltenham with its famous racecourse and Gold Cup week in March. There are several renowned gardens such as Hidcote Manor, Kiftsgate Court, Sezincote and Batsford Arboretum. Shops, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

Large, well equipped , warm and comfortable cottage in centre of Moreton-in-Marsh but quiet. Good garden with large patio, table and chairs with seat cushions available. Easy walk to shops or a short drive to Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water which has a large car park. Friendly helpful owner met us on arrival and provided home-made jam and postcards of Russet Cottage for guests to use.

Russet Cottage was in an ideal position for our plans. There were several gardens and houses within easy reach plus other activities. The cottage itself was one of the best we have ever stayed in - spotlessly clean with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Mr da Silva greeted us on arrival and was very amenable and informative. We would certainly stay there again and recommend the cottage to others.

We had a fantastic week in Russet Cottage. It began with a lovely welcome from the owner. It was a great base for us to visit The Cotswolds and beyond. Moreton in Marsh itself is a lovely town with many cafes, restaurants and shops. The cottage is within easy walking distance. The cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped. There’s also a beautiful self contained garden. Would highly recommend!
