What our customers say about their holidays

    • Guest K.G. - Verified booking

We wanted a much needed break with our family and found this lovely accommodation. The lodge (one of three on the site) was well separated from the others with high banks covered in wild flowers and excellent outside space ensuring privacy. The view from the patio was stunning and we had very good weather which always helps. Inside the lodge was larger than we expected with a spacious kitchen area, comfortable seating around the log stove and good dining area, all open plan. The three bedrooms each with ensuite were very comfortable with good quality linen. The build quality of the lodges was very high and the effect overall was of a really comfortable place to stay. The hot tub was popular and worked well although it took a few hours to fully heat up so plan that in. All wood and kindling was supplied and the owners had also left a generous welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits. The location is very quiet which was exactly what we wanted and the nearby pub served a good choice of meals. It does take a while to drive along the narrow lanes to the lodges but we got used to being careful and generally the traffic was very light. Lots of things to do and see in the area and we will look to return again.

We booked Bramble very last minute, on a bit of a whim and are we glad we did? Yes, yes and yes! Bramble has been one of the most serene, scenic and relaxing places we have ever had the good fortune to visit for a holiday. The cottage is very well-equipped, the details throughout make it feel like a home away from home. We were able to visit Corfe castle, Weymouth Beach and the Sealife Centre for fun family days out. But we've had as much fun firing up the hot tub and bbq, just relaxing into family time. The local walks to The Fox and Brewery Farm Shop have been nice and easy enough, even with children! Coming from a busy city, it has been a delight for our senses to be here for a week, Thank you.

Wow! What a place! The Bramble Lodge is absolutely stunning. We stayed here as part of our staycation honeymoon. We could not have asked for anything better. Loved every second from walking up to the amazing views and seeing the cows grazing outside to relaxing in the wood fired hot tub. The lodge was immaculate upon arrival and the essential welcome package was a lovely touch. We would recommend this place to everybody we know and we are already planning our next visit. We went to the Fox Inn for Sunday roast which was to die for. Being a short drive from Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove the location is ideal. Thank ou for making our honeymoon on to remember. 10/10 for everything.

The stay we had at Bramble was perfect! It is designed and furnished to a really high standard. We had the dreamiest pre-Christmas break reading by the log burning fire in the day and star-gazing in the hot tub at night. The local area has a lovely pub called The Fox Inn which does great food. The local farm shops helps you stock up on any extra supplies you need and the hamper you get when you arrive, including local produce is so lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.
