What our customers say about their holidays

    • Mr Griffiths - Verified booking

Lovely quiet cottage, 10 mins walk to the Wales Coastal Path and 15 mins walk to Trefin. The small welcome pack of tea/coffee milk and Welsh cakes were very welcome after a long drive. Oh, and there was a bottle of red wine too, great touch. Underfloor heating kept the cottage warm and there's instant hot water. The bath is a God send after a day's walking. Really good equipment levels in the kitchen, more here than we have at home. The small log burner added an extra level of cosiness during our stay at the end of January. We brought our own kindling/logs as we had some surplus at home. But you may be able to arrange supplies from the cottage owners if you wish. A great addition is the use of a 7kWh electric car charger. I have a PHEV so it was great to use it for local driving to nearby towns and villages. Pay for what you use essentially. There is an outside tap to clean off muddy boots etc, and also the use of a washing machine in the shed outside. All in all, a great little base for your holiday in God's country

I marked down the equipment as we didnt find a torch or candles and knowing from previous stays nearby, we have had times with electric out, last year we spent an evening at a very nearby cottage in darkness as electric off but thankfully they had lots of candles there. I also found the settee to be a sink hole that was hard to get out of so not very comfortable. It would also be a bonus to have a spare toilet roll as we ran out. The picnic bench in garden is broken, not attached underneath so didnt feel safe to use. other than that the cottage was wonderful and even when the boiler broke it was repaired within a few hours, great hosts and the best welcome package we have ever received, they went above and beyond, it was most appreciated, we would be more than happy to return.

    • Mrs Lucy Clarke - Verified booking

The property was not situated within 0.1km of a shop, as advertised on website. Otherwise, this was in a fantastic location. There was an ironing board at the property, but no iron. We had to clean some kitchen cupboard interiors, the hob and some pots on our arrival, as these were dirty. One mug had a crack in it, so could not be used. Beds comfortable, but sofas were not. However, it was suitable for a week. There was nothing to light the barbecue with, but the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. The door was very hard to open and close due to the bottom seal. Elderly people would struggle with this. It is a potential fire hazard. The grounds were excellent, although we did have to pick up litter from around the play area on arrival, before allowing our dog out.

Lovely cottage in an area good for walking. Kitchen is fully equipped and there is plenty of space downstairs, there are a few floor level changes with deep steps. The bedroom is on the mezzanine and accessed by a spiral staircase which is open on to the bedroom. The bed was too soft for us and the shower arrangement is not good. The TV is apps only but is all logged in so you don’t need your own accounts. Outside there is a lovely grassy area. Nothing is fenced so you need to have the dog on a lead if it is a flight risk! Would recommend if the upstairs issues were addressed.

    • Mr Rowland - Verified booking

Lovely, cosy, converted barn in West Wales. Great local walks, from the doorstep, along the coastal path, with stunning views. The property is well equipped with kitchen utensils, clean and inviting. Hosts were brilliant, contacting us prior to arrival to check requirements for travel cot & high chair (available for infants); providing a 'welcome pack of treats and information, and also checking and fixing the boiler immediately, when we unfortunately lost hot water. Perfect for a relaxing getaway and exploring Pembrokeshire. Thank you
