About this property

This rustic stone farmhouse near St Davids is located down a quiet Pembrokeshire country lane. St Davids is known as Britain smallest city and has an array of individual shops, galleries, eateries, and friendly pubs.

This simple farmhouse is the original courthouse and has a large lawn garden for the children and family to enjoy. The property is surrounded by farmland with green pastures. The coast path is easily accessible from the property and can be accessed by crossing two fields. There are also a number of beaches and coves that are within a short drive of the property including Whitesands, Abereiddi, The Blue Lagoon, Traethllyfn, Porthgain, Newgale and Abermawr.

The city of St Davids is situated on the far south west coast of Wales. Granted city status by Queen Elizabeth II, it is the smallest city in the UK, with its magnificent cathedral dating back to the 12th century and the ruins of the Bishop's Palace, both wonderful buildings to explore. Situated within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, St Davids is a delightful place with an array of unique shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs, surrounded by spectacular coastal scenery. Nearby Whitesands Bay is one of the many beautiful beaches in the area, and walkers will delight in the spectacular views from the coastal path which runs around the complete coastline of Pembrokeshire. Local buses will help with your walking plans, so that you can walk several stretches of the path with totally different landscapes and views each day. Dolphin spotting from land or from the many boat trips to local islands are a must, and are also perfect for enjoying the wonderful array of birds in their natural habitat. St Davids is the perfect holiday destination, whether you are looking for a quiet relaxing break, wonderful walking, a round of golf, an exploration of magnificent castles or fun-filled days at Oakwood Theme Park, farm parks and much more.

A lot of attention to detail had clearly been put in. WiFi is a bonus these days too. Very friendly and helpful host. We look forward to visiting again.

It was such a glorious week and the house just added to our wonderful experience. The large garden was ideal for our two dogs and it’s was so peaceful at the property with it being off the main road. Again ideal for our older dog who is also a bit nervous. A short walk to the coastal path gave us easy access for daily walks with the dogs so close to the house. With St David’s being 3/4 miles from the house and Abereiddy beach + Porthgain in the opposite direction, there was plenty for us to see and do during the week. The house and its amenities were everything we needed, with comfortable beds and a nice kitchen/dining area. All in all a great success and we will definitely visit again.
