"This cottage is beautiful in a gorgeous place, bedrooms, great, bathrooms brilliant, open plan lounge, dining ,kitchen,Very large open plan lounge very comfortable sofas, dining table and chairs nice, kitchen very modern and large,The downsides were that there was this very strange slate and concrete object on the floor in lounge, with what looked like a drain pipe of some sort in it,it was dangerous in our opinion,as it stood on top of carpet approx 2-3 inches high and approx 3-4 ft by over 2 ft wide,a child running around could fall over this very easily,we almost tripped over a few times as you had to go around to get to kitchen, what the purpose of this is we did not know or understand particularly with regard to the pipe which was also stuffed with tissue. The kitchen looked beautiful, but,no dishwasher at all, washing machine upstairs in a very narrow utility room, there was also only a tiny fridge in the kitchen, there was another fridge in upstairs utility and also a small freezer up there, none in the kitchen,so you were running upstairs every time you wanted something out of freezer ,it seemed totally unnecessary as the kitchen could easily have taken all these appliances with tons of spare cabinets. The oven was really dirty inside and some of the utensils need replacing, some pans and trays in quite poor condition. Also it is under floor heating in this cottage,it was either too hot or freezing and took so long to heat up or slow down, we appreciate that this is new age heating, but when it’ takes so long it is not really sufficient control.I know this sounds as if we really are complaining but this is such a lovely cottage in such a lovely place with very nice friendly owners that we feel really bad at having to say this,We really don’t think that it would take many changes to make this a fabulous holiday cottage in such a great place.Overall we had a wonderful holiday."

"We had such a lovely week at S60333. The Cottage was beautiful, tastefully done with everything in it that a family and their four legged friends would need. We arrived to a lovely personalised welcome pack which included flowers, milk, treats for dogs and children as well as jar full of chocolate biscuits. The Cottage is spacious, spotless clean, very well equipped, and comfortable. The location is truly stunning and you can literally throw a stone into the water from the front door! Therefore, making it literally impossible to be nearer the sea. The local folk were lovely, there was so much to see and do in the surrounding area, but to be honest you don't really need to leave the your own doorstep. The weather was kind to us and our children loved it and spent their days on the surrounding beaches and their evenings in the harbour in front of our door paddling about in an inflatable canoe. The dogs were in heaven too and frankly so were we. In short we absolutely loved it!"

"Set in an enviable location in the village of Lhanbryde, overlooking farmland, S79045 is a spacious bungalow with every contemporary convenience and appointed to a high standard designed for comfort. Instructions for appliances and heating are comprehensively described in the folder, along with useful information on the area.We were impressed by the careful attention to detail and Brian kept in touch before and after our visit. While we were there we were in the capable and courteous hands of Brian's Dad, who lives nearby.Lhanbryde boasts an award- winning butcher and a friendly local convenience store, a five minute walk from the house. A short drive takes you to Fochabers, Elgin and Lossiemouth and though the dolphins were not out to play at Spey Bay we did see an osprey. In the evening we took advantage of the lovely view from the patio to watch the sun setting over the fields. We would highly recommend S79045 for a relaxing get- away in beautiful Morayshire."

"S60333 is a fabulous, warm and welcoming holiday cottage. Very comfortable, excellent heating, great kitchen and the outlook onto the harbour is lovely. The bedrooms are very comfy and spacious as are the bathrooms. The utility room is a nice extra touch. The kitchen is very well equipped and well stocked, we didn’t lack for anything. The welcome basket was generous as were the bathroom essentials that you may forget to pack. Although Findochty is a small fishing village, the area is well located to visit attractions. Findhorn Sands is an absolute must, Spey Bay Dolphin Centre is worthy of a visit or two. There is a big supermarket less than 10 mins drive plus a small shop in the village. If you are looking for a relaxing break in very comfortable surroundings with lots of places to visit/walk, then we would recommend S60333 - one of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in."

"Unlike many holiday houses, S84434 is as good, or even better, than the photos. This beautifully presented cottage had everything we needed to make our stay most enjoyable. It is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The bed and couch were most comfortable. The facilities were excellent and Anita's generous provisions were greatly appreciated. As described, the cottage is out of town and one needs a car to access shops, pub etc however the rural location is very quiet and private, with a pleasant outlook. It is ideally situated for exploring the area around northern Scotland and we thoroughly enjoyed our day trips to locations further afield. Anita proved to be an excellent and obliging host. This is one of the best cottages we have stayed in over many years of international travel using self-catering accommodation."
