This is by far the best property weâve stayed in for our dog.
We were so impressed at how much space there was. This property is all enclosed so can let the dog off the lead. We had a wonderful time. Loved sitting in the garden letting the dog and our little girl play. The views are amazing so relaxing and tranquil. The finer details with this property is just on another level. There was milk in the fridge, a little hamper of food such as eggs and cereals. There was a high chair for our daughter and also a carry cot so we didnât need to bring ours. Everything we needed was right there, even board games which came in handy when it started to rain. The property is situated close to the nearest town which you could walk to but we drove. We visited the monkey forest as well which was about 15 minutes away, worth a visit. I honestly canât fault it just wish we had booked for longer. We will definitely look at booking again in the near future. Loved everything about our holiday so thank you very much.

My son is disabled so a single story was excellent. The accommodation for a holiday let was almost perfect apart from the thin walls between the living area and the bedrooms. We have a young child who went to bed long before we two. Although parched (not the owner's fault) the surrounding grounds are lovely and the lake delightful just a shame it was a hike to the top in respect of my son who was unable to go up there. To sum up, my granddaughter when, on the last day was asked if she will be pleased to go home said, "Yes but equally I want to stay here". The only real downside for us was the road because my son has a back injury and Ankylosing Spondylitis which reacts badly to a bumpy road. There is so much to do in the area and we had a lovely and memorable stay at Ramson Lodge. Than you.

A beautiful little gem of a property to stay in Porthleven, Cornwall, with stunning views across the harbour.
Ideal location to use as a base to explore, with a must visit to the Twisted Currant, especially for their cream teas and The Deli, especially for their pizzas. Exceptionally clean, very warm, with underfloor heating and preset heating. Would have been nice to have had some instructions to be able to adjust the temperature as it did feel slightly chilly on occasions. Also, no instruction to utilise the Quooker, however didn't prove to be too much of a problem. Wonderfully comfortable bed and beautiful bedding in the main bedroom and some super decorative touches. Settees in the living room were not designed to spend too long a period of time on as felt a little hard on the back. All in all, a lovely place to stay.

The accommodation was excellent. Personally I would have liked a mirror in the second bedroom as the only mirror was a shaving one in the on suite shower room. The location was beautiful. So peaceful with lovely views. The only disappointing aspect of the holiday was that my husband and his friend found the fishing very frustrating. They didn't catch anything all week. They had spoken to the maintenance guy who said that otters had been in the lake and eaten the fish! So considering its advertised as a fishing holiday, it was a bit of a let down. But apart from that we enjoyed the week, especially the weather.

So impressive when we drove up the drive and saw the amazing looking cottage.
On entering the property, the wow factor continued. Everywhere was spotless and the welcome pack was just fantastic. Had everything we needed to start our week off. (Even down to extra treats, bowls etc. for doggie) Our little dog loved exploring in the large and very safe garden. Loved the jacuzzi! As weather wasnât the best, it was lovely to light the log fire and cosy down in the evening after a busy day sightseeing. The owner came over to welcome us and offer us any information we might need. Couldnât fault this property at all and canât wait to return.
