What our customers say about their holidays

We loved the space and layout of the property.

The sauna is a lovely touch after long days walking to warm up and ease the muscles. A real home from home. Thanks for the water cooler too - it was superb, as you said, and we managed to drink it all in a week! The shower was lovely and powerful and we enjoyed a hot bath after our days out in the mountains. The location is excellent. We got out as far as the Cairngorms and Aviemore went up the mountain. We went up the gondola at the Nevis Range and on to Fort William and then over to Ullapool via the gorge on another day. Just taking a full tour around Loch Ness is a day out in itself with varied landscapes. We walked down into Drumnadrochit one day for lunch at the Fiddlers. It isn't far at all but it is a very steep walk. So much to do in the area and wonderful to have the warm, comfortable Glenview to come back to.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ben Luna this October.

It's the perfect Oct holiday we could've hoped for. The lodge is situated on a hill, surrounded by lush greenery. As soon as we drove through the gate, we felt relaxed and we knew instantly this was a very special place. We were met by the lovely Sarah who showed us around and made sure we were comfortable finding things. The lodge was so well equipped we wouldn’t have needed to bring anything! It even had a baby grand piano which the kids loved playing. The lovely welcome hamper, the attention to detail, and without a doubt the amount of work that must have gone into preparing the lodge showed just how much Sarah and her team valued the experience of their guests. We really appreciated it and I would not hesitate to recommend Ben Luna to anyone who wants a perfect holiday in the Scottish highlands.

Lodge as described very spacious and well presented.

Located in a lovely isolated spot and as the name suggests a great view over the glen. Stay was marred by the the fact a bottle of malt whiskey that I purchased to drink whilst on holiday had the distillery seal around the bottle neck. Strangely later on in the weeks stay when I went to get a drink from the bottle the seal had been broken and the contents swapped with what I can only describe as a cheaper alternative. I know it’s not the original contents as it is a regular brand I drink and has a much darker colour and a lot more harsher taste and smell about it. I am not happy that you can’t leave your belongings in a holiday home without it being interfered with. Shame because like I said lovely property in a fantastic location and would not recommend or return because of this.

We had a lovely warm welcome from the property owner along with some Scottish treats waiting for us in the kitchen.

Another great feature was the water cooler with some of the local ‘Fionnar’ spring water, which was very refreshing! This property has absolutely beautiful views overlooking Drumnadrochit - sitting in the living room was an absolute pleasure at any time of day. The house was really spacious and comfortable - the convenience of en-suites for every room was also a great feature. We really enjoyed our stay here and it was a perfect base for exploring the many beautiful areas in and around Loch Ness.

Had a brilliant three nights at Ben Luna Cottage.

Our family party of 12 absolutely loved our New Year celebrations in such a wonderful property and a superb location. Thank you Sarah for your amazing help and kindnesses - and we really appreciate you arranging the snowfall for our stay which made it quite special! The Lodge is beautifully equipped, very luxurious and lovingly decorated. Fantastic and memorable time away for us all.
