Conwy is a charming walled town in northern Wales, on the coast of the Irish Sea. This historic town has plenty of compelling sights, such as the old town walls, and the ruins of Conwy Castle, which sits dramatically above the town. You can also enjoy a walk along the quay or across the impressive suspension bridge, both of which have great views over the sea. Conwy is also on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, so there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling, birdwatching, and other outdoor activities.

Here at Snaptrip, we can help you find great lodges and log cabins in Conwy. Whether you want a family-size lodge in town near the impressive Victorian promenade or a rustic log cabin at the foot of the Snowdonia hills, we have plenty of options, so you can enjoy surfing, shopping in the markets, or sampling the local cuisine.

Our best-price guarantee means you know you'll get a good deal and unbeatable value, whatever type of cabin or lodge you want for your break. You can use our search filters to find properties with great extras like hot tubs, open fireplaces, and secured gardens for dogs. If you have any questions, our customer service team is always on hand, ready to help.

      I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

!!! The cabin was spotlessly clean and very spacious for 3 of us. Loved the open plan layout so all the family could be together. The cabin was even better in real life than the pictures on the website. Heating in every room, was so toastie. All utensils provided and if you needed anything else all you had to do was to ask the wonderful Jayne, who was so helpful. From the moment I got out the car on arrival, I found it magical! Surrounded by trees, the walk to the front door of the cabin, through the garden followed the most beautiful stream. To hear the constant running water brought a sense of peace, calm and tranquility, just beautiful! We were there to climb Snowdon, which was only 30-40 minute drive. Conwy Castle in the town centre was approximately 10 minute drive, Chester one hour drive and Aber Falls 30 minute drive. If you love walking and hiking in the countryside, this is for you, if you enjoy peace, reading, relaxing or sightseeing this is for you. Just a magical little hideaway. Miss it already! Thank you so much Jayne, very grateful

A very comfortable, warm cottage, with a very well-equipped kitchen.

Loads of birds in the garden and lovely stream etc. although we would have felt a bit closed in if the trees had been in leaf. The area would be idyllic for walkers etc. (sadly we're no longer able to do hill walking). The layout has been changed since the photos, meaning that the only coat pegs are now alongside the TV, which is not ideal. We also found the lighting challenging for reading, both in the living area and the bedrooms and missed not having a mirror in the twin room. I would not like to try to park 2 cars (unless both were small) in the parking area, because of its cliff sides, and had to drive up the road to a wider turning to be able to turn round every time we went out (and I am an IAM driver).

Cottage brilliant with everything needed on hand. In respect of location we found it a little remote for our liking and the single track road was an absolute pain my car almost touched touched both sides of the hedge, thankfully we did not meet much traffic. The welcome pack was top notch and real quality. Overall cleanliness was pretty good but the shower had some grubby grout and you did not need to look far for a few cobwebs. The smoke alarm close to the cooker was a pain in the butt, we have recently had two fitted by the Fire Brigade and were told they never placed them in kitchens but on the threshold. Did we enjoy our stay, yes we did. Bodnant Gardens should be compulsory for all visitors, fantastic!

The property was comfortable and clean. There was everything we needed in the kitchen. Super location. Some windows very stiff to open - perhaps a bit of oil on the hinges? Recent comments made in the visitors' book mention disappointment with the welcome hamper. We would concur with this. Although the items in the hamper were of a high quality, it would have been nice to have basics included, i.e. bread, butter, milk and a packet of tea. This would be helpful , particularly as there are no local shops for these items. In all the other Rural Retreat properties we have visited, basic items have been included in the hamper, which has been very helpful.

The cottage is in a beautiful quiet location, with stunning views across unspoilt countryside to the hills and mountains. The sunsets were amazing. The location is a perfect base to explore North Wales from, lovely beaches, forests and castles galore. Within easyreach of Llandudno if you need shops and facilities. There's a good butcher and food shop on the Bodnant estate for good quality meat, cheese, bread etc We and our dog enjoyed the peaceful setting, the walking was great. The cottage itself has everything you need, comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom. There's a woodburing fire if needed. The cottage was clean, and nicely furnished.
