What our customers say about their holidays

    • Barbara - Verified booking

      Where does one begin.

Only two dinner plates for three people No sharp knife for cutting veg/fruit etc and no serving spoons only spaghetti spoon. Difficulty reaching into some wall cupboards and spices etc on top shelf, presumably not for visitors use. Toilet flushes okay sometimes and then you get a continuous flush which takes an age to correct. The shower is difficult to get in and out with a fairly high step, which is not good for people with arthritic limbs. Lovely bed linen but the mattress has seen better days, it's hard so that you can feel the bed base which wasn't bolted together so we had to do it or we could have ended up on the floor. Springs sticking out down one side and the creeks were dreadful on turning and getting in and out of the bed. All that being said it's time it was replaced. The brochure pictures are not identical to the actual apartment i.e. chair in lounge, pouffe missing, bed in different place and wardrobe replaced with a small hanging cupboard. Window frame needs a good clean as something like glue is stuck to it. A positive being a vast amount of cost hangers which is a bonus to some hotels. In our opinion it's vastly overpriced at over £1,000 a week particularly with the summer season just around the corner Personally I think someone from your offices should be doing spot checks on the properties you are advertising for cleanliness and value for money. I'm aware that the property is on the market for sale but should be in a better condition than it is

      Nice stay thank you.

Initially very noisy in the street outside due to not double glazed windows on Friday night but much better other nights. Heaters did not work in main bedroom and hallway but owner dropped off a plug in heater which was great. Some mould in shower floor cubicle was a bit off putting but all rooms were large and spacious, great tv with free view, washer, dishwasher and microwave. Would have been really helpful to have had a clothes aider as there was nowhere to dry clothes. Beds were very comfortable and apartment very convenient for town although whilst we were there, parking was a major problem every time we went out, there was no free parking in any local streets. This could have been as it was bank holiday weekend whilst we were there but meant driving round and round for 30 mins and then walking 10 mins back to flat with shopping etc. which was very annoying. One day we couldn’t find anywhere at all and ending up parking and paying on the car park opposite the museum as that was the nearest! We didn’t like the fact that anyone could access our stairwell from the ice cream shop and all the junk in the hallway and found the stairs quite greasy and dirty although I believe these are being done up soon. However the flat itself was very nice and modern and we had a comfortable and relaxing stay and enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine! Will recommend to others especially if they don’t have a car as would be excellent for them.

The property is tired and poorly maintained and furnished.

The toilet seat swivels around. There is no soap tray in the shower. No extraction fan in the bathroom. The skirting/pipe covers are covered in old dust. The room thermostat is false reading about 10 degrees out. Must be costing a fortune on over heating. The TV is ancient. The stand is taped up with duct tape. and tv screen is leaning forwards making poor viewing. 1990s sky box with free view only. There is no tv internet connection to the TV. No tv apps avaliable. Hardwire only and there is none..basic free view channels. No apps. It rained all week..No fault of yours but the tv and broadband was useless. Unacceptable for the rent your charging. The wardrobe back und the wardrobe drawer bottoms are hanging off Broadband won't reach the main bedroom.Pretty much a tired an unloved flat in the middle of nowhere rented out at an extortionate fee. The coffee machine water tank was half full of green Algea water.Shocking. There was old crumbs under the settee. The drawer under the cooker is covered in old grease and cooking stains. Trains pass every 15 minutes that shake the foundations. Parking is akin to parking in a sardine tin. Ridiculous. We left the property cleaner than we found it.Lazy cleaners. Overpriced and under maintained accommodation. One pub in the town £5.50 a pint and £14 for a fish finger sandwich and £18 for burger and chips. Middle of nowhere. Cheaper for a week in Benidorm. Not a happy bunny.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment.

The location is excellent, walking distance to the shops, the marina & the only beach in Conwy. The apartment is decorated nicely & the owners have thought of everything that you may need. Although a coat rail is missing. There is a brook at the back of the apartment that you can hear from the bedroom which is really nice. Our only niggles were that the toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly, if at all & the building attached to the holiday property was having extensive building work done. The debris was all over the steps leading to the apartment & the noise & smell of paint weren’t what we were expecting. It was disappointing when we arrived & saw all the scaffolding & rubbish.
