What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages With Swimming Pools In Hastings To Rent.

"The cottage has everything you could possibly need for a self catering property, even board games and a selection of dvds. We were disappointed that the pool was not in use as it should have been available until September, we left on 1st, however the weather was not really suitable for using an outdoor pool. The other minor irritation was the shower it was either scalding hot or freezing. the beach was a lot further than we had anticipated so we elected to drive, good location for visiting Rye, Hastings and Camber Sands and the New Inn serves really good food and has a nice walled garden.we enjoyed our stay but would not return with our grandchildren as it is a very old property with steep stairs and has very little insulation which means you can hear everything which is not great with young children also the bathroom is downstairs. The girls loved there stay but were disappointed about the pool. It would be ideal for me and my husband on our own."

"A beautiful property but was let down by a few things :-1) Damp. The property had several plug in air fresheners covering up a musty smell. Clothes in the wardrobe smelled musty & felt damp.2) Bed in the master bedroom was ridiculously hard. The owner said it was an orthopaedic mattress. If it is, it's the worst one we have ever slept on. We swapped rooms with our son and the 2nd bedroom single beds were much more comfortable.3) The tennis court had a lot of moss on it and was dangerous to play on (nothing like the photograph on your website)4) The fishing lake was so overgrown it wasn't possible to fish comfortably.5) The lawn hadn't been cut for several weeks and was very overgrown in places.Overall, we were very disappointed with this property, no way does it justify a 4 star rating and we therefore feel it is overpriced compared to the many other holiday properties we have rented over the years."

"Wonderful location in the valley down a long private drive. The layout of the house is ideal for a large group of mixed ages. There are wooden floors throughout therefore no worries about carpets, yet no noise generated. Large enclosed garden safe for children. Good bbq facilities. The heated pool is away from the house in a secluded secured garden, but this area needs a little TLC. There is one very large bedroom with ensuite and dressing room with a day bed in, and a further 3 bedrooms & bathroom upstairs all of which are a descent size. Downstairs there is a further bedroom suitable for those unable to go upstairs plus a bathroom with shower off the main hall. All rooms have fantastic views over the Tillingham Valley. Would certainly return."

"Quirky cottage in fab location with stunning views to Rye. Cottage itself suffers from a down stairs bathroom off the kitchen , and bathroom door right by cooker!Kitchen basics all there but very squashed if more than 3 people stayed.Bathroom clean but dated , shower poor, and no where to dry towels unless heating on. Lounge suite tired and a little uncomfortable.Lovely gas fire though. Bedrooms small but pleasant, spotlessly clean , and very comfortable beds. Wooden floors and stairs mean any walking about was heard throughout, ditto for conversations. If all of the above negatives are okie, for a family with young children rather than 2 couples or more, than cottage fine, Winchelsea quaint."

"We celebrated an important birthday here with our family and some friends. The Granary is a great place to do this in beautiful countryside. Our overall impression has been good and everyone enjoyed it. It is not easy to find. A sign by the B2089 would have been ideal.car parking no problem. House itself got everything. A regular maintenance check by the owners should be carried out to keep such a large place in tip top condition.i.e. light bulbs, toilet fittings, kitchen appliances, etc.,however it did not stop our fun. Rye is only 5 minutes away. Tenterden is also a lovely place to visit. Our grandson loved pool and football tables and table tennis."
