"We stayed in March 2019 when the predicted weather was pretty grim but turned out much better, however the cottage is very warm and comfortable within it's clever compact layout and with a good easterly outlook from the lounge over to the south Downs. The accommodation itself is a self contained annex to the main house with its own front door. All parts of Ouseside Cottage are presented to a very high standard and is equipt very well. I think it is fair to comment that the accommodation is ideally suitable for 2 people but can adapt for an additional 2 at a push using temporary futon mattresses on the mezzanine floor above the dining area. lots of useful information in the cottage about the area and some good reference books as well. Rodmell is very small village but the short walk around Rodmell to visit the ancient Church (still very active) is pleasant and there is also reasonable pub with a good menu just down the road.Parking is easy on-site at the cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again."

"Our second visit here, great location for buses, supermarket, cafe, marina, beach. Lovely place, garden front patio area catches the sun in the morning. We had to come back to do and see things we didn't have time for before. Car boot Sunday morning at the Marina, Snoopy's and the North Road market area on Saturday, and the Flea Market in Kemptown. Buskers at the Brighton Music Hall on the seafront, hot fish rolls. Will need to come back - still haven't done the crazy golf! "Bedford House was an ideal house for us to get the most out of Brighton. It's location was great, it was furnished to a very high standard, and was very clean and well presented. The beach was just over a minutes walk, and the main Shops in Brighton were a 15 minute walk. Parking was fairly straightforward , with a Pay and Display close by for £5.10 per day, and a handy app for your mobile so you can purchase a weeks worth for £35.70. The whole process of booking, payment, and correspondence was easy, and the precise instructions for location and entry to the property were excellent. We will definitely visit Brighton again, and will definitely use Kent and Sussex Holidays A superb Townhouse in a great location. The property was well furnished, very clean, and ideal located for the beach, and only a 15 minute walk to the heart of Brighton shopping. "

"The cottage was in a great location for what we wanted to do - seeing our son and family in Brighton etc (half-term). The underfloor heating in the bathroom was unexpected but very welcome. However, we did find that the heating system was either very hot or very cold - didn't seem to regulate at comfortable/medium. Only 4 plates and bowls, 1 tea towel and no serving dishes I thought was a little on the 'mean' side especially when trying to make a meal. ALSO, we had a masses of wasps which was quite worrying when our 4 year old grandson came to visit. Apparently, on speaking to the cleaner on the morning of departure the previous people had complained too but nothing seemed to have been done about them!! Advertised as having broadband but we couldn't pick up our e-mails etc which was quite frustrating as we were awaiting a couple of important ones."

"We were 26 people who stayed in this wonderful house. Where to begin: the living room and dining area are amazing. The photos on the internet almost Don't do the living room's size and seating justice. A really great area to fit everyone as was the dining area. The kitchen was great, had everything we needed loads of fridges, plates, glasses, dishwasher etc; a really nice touch that cleaning equipment included bin liners were provided...lots of houses don't provide this. There were loads of bathrooms which meant no one was waiting to use them. The location is fantastic, a short walk to the seafront or to the lanes/shopping. The contact with the owner and the company was excellent- we were always well informed of everything. If I needed a house with that many people again I would definitely book again!"
