"Just returned from this lovely place. everything you would ever need for a relaxing holiday, pots pans you name it there is probably more in this kitchen then you have at home. washing machine etc. The area is super peaceful and relaxing and has access to the quieter walks up pen y fan and fan y big. (Cwm Gwdi car park is less than 1km away) You are left to your own devices but Nick and Janie are only a stones throw away and with Pip the 3 legged dog coming to play a lot you will probably see Nick a few times when he comes looking for Pip. Can't fault this place really easy access to Brecon for all your shopping needs and everything the beacons have to offer are local. You will need a car if you don't like walking. Wi-Fi albeit not fibre speeds is actually quite refreshing to not be tied to devices. sky tv and Freesat in every room. The views are to die for."

"Had a fantastic Easter weekend away here. 2 families, 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 4-8) and had the best time. The house itself is lovely and comfortable, perfect for families and groups of friends. It's well equipped for self catering and only a few minutes drive to the supermarkets in Brecon if you've forgotten to bring enough food/booze.It's a working farm, with acres of fields to roam across, which the kids loved. This means mud. Lots of mud. So bring your wellies.Nick and Jane are fabulous hosts. Warm and friendly and surprisingly tolerant of the kids effectively abducting their dog, Pip, for the whole weekend.Probably the best thing about this house, apart from the location and views, is the wood fired hot tub. We spent most of Easter Sunday evening sitting in the hot tub while it snowed around us.We will definitely be coming back!"

"Tir onen rateA lovely cottage with beautiful surroundings, and sheep on your doorstep! Very close to the four waterfall trail in Ystradfellte, and also to Pen y Fan and Corn Du. The cottage is very remote, with no 3G signal and no WiFi. Take good note of the path into the cottage from the A470 once you are shown it by the host, because the postcode doesn’t help with locating it! Electricity is operated with a generator, which can be left on overnight if absolutely necessary, particularly for perishable fridge items. The cottage is well stocked with bed linen, towels, crockery and cutlery, and there are some condiments too. The host is very friendly and helpful! Many thanks for a nice stay."

"If it’s a get away from everything Holiday you’re looking for then look no further. Tucked away in the hills, no net connection until you reach the road, a peaceful idyllic farmhouse, stone floors, walls and staircase, surrounded by sheep, horses and cows. The nearest co-op is approx 5 kms away, a couple of take aways, great fish n chip shop. Set close to the Beacons this is a perfect setting. Rhossili Bay is approx 1hr 20 mins away. Plenty of walks, superb waterfalls. Very well equipped accommodation, basic and well catered for. We had a superb break, my grandson loved the stream which runs at the bottom of the garden. I would recommend. The owners were very accommodating."

"A fantastic property with a lovely eco-house back story. Easily the cleanest place we've ever stayed - in fact the only holiday house where I've ever felt comfortable walking around in bare feet. The pictures of the property don't do it justice, it's a fantastic size for a 3 bed with all the facilities you would expect and more. It's obviously not what you would go for if you want to be in walking distance of shops and restaurants but for a country retreat/walking holiday it's ideal. It's not a naturally child-friendly place but we stayed with a 4 and 2 year old with no problem at all, just mind the stairs and tie up the blind cords!"
