What our customers are saying about our Child Friendly Cottages In Brecon To Rent.
Staffordshire, United Kingdom - verified booking
"Delightful place - lovely people. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very warm and friendly welcome by the owners and their manager who gave us complete privacy but were only a phone call and a five minute drive away should we need anything. The accommodation is of excellent quality - our party of fifteen plus two toddlers occupied the four bedroomed farmhouse, the two bedroomed cottage and the four bedroomed barn conversion - and were able to dine together in comfort. The two hot tubs were very popular. The surrounding countryside is very beautiful and the delightful River Crai runs through the owners' land. Weather was mixed so on fine days we were able to take advantage of this being in the centre of outstanding walking country but when the Brecon Beacons rain persisted we had plenty of room to enjoy being together indoors and in the big play barn with its table tennis table. This was our 16th consecutive annual family get-together and we consider this accommodation to be the best yet."

We managed two barbecues while we were there.<br /> Tips: Get good ordnance survey maps and a compass and you'll be fine for walking. There aren't many signed footpaths. Brecon and Hay on Wye - very nice towns.</span>"

"We had a lovely few days in the cottage, we met up with our family and although it rained the whole time we had great fun going out for the days and playing games in the evening. The cottage is well equipped to meet the needs of a family. The only problem we encountered was that it was difficult to control the temperature of the upstairs shower. However we all just used the downstairs shower so it wasn't too much of a problem. We had a lovely day out at the Big Pit and also a run on the Brecon National Railway. We enjoyed a tour of Talgarth Mill and the wee ones took part in a workshop within the Mill making rag rug sheep. We had a lovely meal in the Bridge End Inn where the owner made us very welcome. The food was excellent."

"A lovely comfortable and cosy cottage in a peaceful location. We arrived to find fresh flowers, cakes, tea, coffee, sugar and milk and juice in the fridge. A very welcome touch. The kitchen provided everything we needed for our weeks holiday. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. The neaest shop, the Co-op is only a 5 minute walk away There was also a couple of pubs and a very good fish and chip shop, all within walking distance. The surrounding country side is stunning and we enjoyed many walks, some of which started a short distance from the cottage. Many thanks to Keith and Eirwen for providing such a lovely holiday home."

"We all had a fantastic time in Glaslyn and the owners of the cottage were very helpful. The cottage itself is in an excellent location and the views from the cottage itself over the Beacons were stunning. We unfortunately only had a couple of good days weather-wise but were able to utilise them and do some short hikes in the area. It did allow us to use the facilities at the cottage to full effect though and we were able to make some great food for the group in the excellently equipped kitchen. All in all, we had a truly memorable time and if we intend to do a similar thing in the future we shall go back to Glaslyn."
