What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Barcombe To Rent.

"The big plus about this cottage is the wonderful location, perched atop a cliff with lovely views to the south over the channel and to the west along the coast, where we saw some amazing sunsets.Large property with secure decked area to patio doors to front and beyond a secured mainly turfed garden. This was ideal for our 2 small dogs. Parking for 2 cars directly outside and property accessed by gravel road. Spacious lounge, adequate kitchen, decent size bedrooms and main bathroom. We didn't use the games room upstairs. The negatives were that when we arrive the place smelt of dogs, and although we have dogs, this smell was off putting. Soon had windows open and bought and used air fresheners which did the trick. Everywhere was clean, but the kitchen was dirty. Previous occupants had left a dirty greasy oven, dirty microwave, some cutlery marked and oven and work tops not clean. We had to spend a bit of time with soap and water to make it clean, which we shouldn't have to do.Otherwise a nice property in great location."

"We were 26 people who stayed in this wonderful house. Where to begin: the living room and dining area are amazing. The photos on the internet almost Don't do the living room's size and seating justice. A really great area to fit everyone as was the dining area. The kitchen was great, had everything we needed loads of fridges, plates, glasses, dishwasher etc; a really nice touch that cleaning equipment included bin liners were provided...lots of houses don't provide this. There were loads of bathrooms which meant no one was waiting to use them. The location is fantastic, a short walk to the seafront or to the lanes/shopping. The contact with the owner and the company was excellent- we were always well informed of everything. If I needed a house with that many people again I would definitely book again!"

"Our shower was broke. We noticed this on our arrival, when we were looking around the lodge. We notified reception straight away and the lady came round and checked it. Her solution was a plumber would be called tomorrow to come and fix it. No alternative was given to us, as we had to go a night without a shower! We called 8am the next day to let them know we was awake and ready for the plumber, the receptionist told us that he would be with us straight away. He came 4 hours later, which you can imagine ruined our plans as we didn’t want to leave without showering. This was unacceptable, I emailed them to complain and they just ignored me!"

"I stayed at the pavilion guest house with a group of ‘Mum friends’ for a fabulous relaxing weekend away. The house is amazing- loads of space, great facilities, including a very well equipped kitchen, and it’s right in the centre of Brighton with fabulous views of the pavilion. It’s only a few minutes walk to Brighton pier, and to the fantastic Lanes shopping area. The rooms are really comfortable, many of them being en suite, so it’s a great place to stay for a large group of friends or families. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again."

"Historic cottage in a picture-postcard pretty village which is too small for four adults... However I would not want to take children to this cottage as it is noisy at nights and the stairs are treacherous. The owners were helpful when contacted.Furnishings were dated but efficient heating system and TV were new - although reception on most channels was dodgy. The building is historic, and listed. However something urgently needs to be done about the stairs as the tilt on one is dangerous as it tips you forward when descending."
