What our customers say about their holidays

    • Claire - Verified booking

A lovely apartment, providing a touch of luxury in Lytham.

The first thing I normally do is go round cleaning when I arrive at a holiday let. No need to here though, it was absolutely spotless and had a bright and airy feel. A generous welcome pack greeted us too. The heating was easy to control, the bedding was excellent quality. The owners had left an A4 list easy to read list of useful information such as Wi-Fi code, and on the other side was simple and clear information on how to operate appliances (whey don’t all self catering places do this?). The smart TVs were a bonus and we were able to log in and watch NOW TV and Amazon Prime as well as the usual channels. There was great communication from the owners too. The apartment was around 10-15 minute stroll from the centre of Lytham and there was a bus stop at the end of the road that went into Blackpool. All in all a lovely place to stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I originally booked apartment 4 full payment was made more than a month before the proposed stay and a week before we got changed to apartment 1 due to a mix up on your side.

I was promised a bottle of wine as a sorry which was not left. we moved to apartment 1 which only had the one bathroom whose door would not shut so every time someone wanted the toilet or to take a shower we had to announce it so people stayed in the front room and didnt watch which was not acceptable. The kitchen isnt the best stocked I have stayed at and the apartment was beyond freezing when we arrived with material feeling damp due to the cold. We were looking for somewhere that could have been a regular stay with my daughter being at university in Liverpool unfortunately this will not be on our list of returning to but the surrounding area and access to the beach was lovely.

      Lovely comfortable accommodation.

Irene, the owner, was extremely helpful and went above and beyond sorting out a minor problem I had on arrival. The facilities in the flat were outstanding. The kitchen was really well equipped. The lounge area very comfortable and tv and broadband all worked really well. Beds extremely comfortable too and shower easy to control and lovely and hot. The location is great too, being very handy for the town centre and within walking distance of shops/pubs. All in all a great place to stay and my dogs were made very welcome too with treats and bowls provided as well as a very useful welcome pack for me too

      Loved our stay here.

The lounge is very spacious and supremely comfortable. Irene is a great hostess. Great parking which was big enough for our Transit Van. The station and town centre is a ten-minute walk away. The bedrooms are a good size and quiet. Southport is a lovely old Victorian seaside resort with a huge beach and pier. The pier train was running even in mid-January. The property is heated by a heat pump, very green! We visited family and friends and watched a football match at Anfield. We will be returning.

I have sent a feedback reply over a week ago.

I had just 2 complaints, I have never had to empty an overloaded dishwasher on arrival, wondered why I couldn’t find some crockery items, glasses, etc., until I opened the dishwasher hence things were put back in the cupboards anywhere, also the first time I closed the blinds in the lounge a panel fell on top of my head, luckily it wasn’t very heavy. We are always being asked to leave things as we found them on leaving, we don’t use dishwashers so I left it empty to save you the bother. J
