What our customers say about their holidays

What you see in the pictures of this apartment is 100% in reality, it really is that superb.

The exterior hits you first, a listed building which sits so well in its surroundings. The security of here is very reassuring, fob activated entry to the building before reaching the apartment. We accessed the lift but there are stairs. The entrance and communal stairways are simply decorated and immaculate. On entering there's a box for dirty footwear, brilliant idea, keeps the quality flooring in excellent repair. It is superbly decorated, very modern, very elegant, we were impressed by the window dressings, shutter blinds, when closed the right way do not let the early morning light in. The open plan living/kitchen area we loved, when one is in kitchen we can still interact with each other, there's every piece of cooking equipment/utensils/crockery/cutlery you could possibly need. The huge t.v. comes complete with varied apps and subscriptions already loaded, spoiled for choice when not out exploring. Theres a utility area off the kitchen with a washer and drier, no dirty clothes to take home - awesome! theres a toilet and sink just off there, handy as our bladders seem to be in sync, no race to the loo. The bedroom is very spacious, beautifully furnished, so pleased to see a tasteful clothes rail, a wardrobe would have comprised the aesthetics. Spacious en suite, wonderful shower and an abundance of towels, thank you. On arrival there were a few treats left, including beverages, milk, biscuits and a bottle of prosecco, not expected, received with pleasure. The area itself is amazing, x2 easy distance/accessible stores (coop and spar). Just up the steep lane brings you to main street with the quirky shops and cafes, just round from this the bronte museum. If you cant manage the walk up the lane, there's a bus stop at top and bottom of the lane, the buses take you to varied destinations too, including keighley where you can access further afield places by bus or rail. Plenty of amazing walking routes to wuthering heights/bronte waterfalls etc. Of course how can we forget, its located next to Haworth rail station, on the steam railway route, famed by the railway children movie. We took a ride, loved it. We've been coming to Haworth for many years and stayed in many properties, we have found our favourite, our must have holiday rental and will be back again. The owners Debbie & Ben - great communication, at the end of phone call if you need them, congrats on being 5* hosts, much appreciated.

The flat was clean and in a great location.

The bed was comfy and it was quiet at night so I slept well. However: The entrance to the shower cubicle was too narrow as it was too close to the toilet. I had to slide in sideways and slide out sideways. On my first day one of the two windows became faulty and I couldn’t close it properly.I reported it to the one listed phone number. There was indeed a problem and it was fixed on the Monday. The communication from the person on the listed number was less than ideal as between Friday and Monday I had no idea when it would be fixed. The flat was a bit stuffy with no views to speak of. The shutter blinds could be opened to let light in via a very flimsy stool once the person on the listed number had informed me how to. There was no dining table so it was just as well I was planning to eat out. The area was very scenic with lots of beautiful places within easy reach by bus and train and I would, will visit the area again. Not the same flat. This would not suit a very large person due to the size of it. I expected it to be larger. I would recommend that it’s suitable for one skinny person or a skinny couple. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

We arrived at the cottage and were welcomed by the friendly owner, Rachel, who had baked us some delicious ginger biscuits.

The cottage was very spacious for two people and had the bonus of a utility room (where you enter the property through) which is great to store your muddy boots and gear. The bathroom has the bonus of a bath and shower, and the bedroom has enough storage to unpack your cases fully. The lounge and kitchen are open plan- again plenty big enough, although we would have liked more kitchen utensils (pots and pans) to cook with. For those wanting access to WiFi please be aware that the signal in this area is poor and we could not access the Internet most of the time. The location of the cottage is perfect for those wish to explore the surrounding countryside or who need an easy commute to Warley, Hebden Bridge, Heptonstall or Halifax town. It may be worth noting that the drive to the cottage involves a few steep hairpin lanes which are not for the inexperienced driver. Overall, we would definitely recommend this cottage. Rachel was very welcoming and always available to answer any questions. There is also parking at the property.

Top Class Apartment in Ideal Location.

This apartment has received many positive comments which we would agree with. Some additional feedback points, is the benefit of access to 4 private EV Charging points. They are 7.4KW chargers and managed via an App. Debbie and Ben can help to arrange access. The apartment comes with its own allocated parking space so need to look for off road parking. If you wish to take a break from driving you will find that there is an excellent local bus service with bus stops at the end of the bridge. The benefit is you get a chance to view the scenery and do not have to worry about negotiating the narrow roads and then having to find a car park space at your destination. The buses can take you to Hebden Bridge in one direction and Keighley in another. Keighley has a large Bus station with buses to lots of locations. I would recommend this apartment as an excellent base for exploring Haworth, its local walks and the surrounding area.

We keep coming back to this property as it truly has everything you need and more.

The owners are very guest oriented, it shows in their superb communication and provision of treats and convenience for the guest in everything they provide in the apartment. The decor is amazing to an exceptionally high standard with unique pieces of furniture. Never slept in a more comfortable bed (other than my own) and pillows make the whole sleep experience fantastic. The building itself is set in the village of Haworth, with x2 convenience stores and the KWVR on the doorstep. Public transport is also on the doorstep in both directions, to keighley and hebden bridge. Cannot fault this accommodation in any way at all, the security, cleanliness in communal areas of the building and presence of a lift are also what set this above competitors. Can't wait to be there again.
