What our customers say about their holidays

    • Doodles the scot - Verified booking

The wee cottage was easy to access using the key box. There is parking directly outside the cottage but it is limited. The inside of the cottage is lovely. Everything was clean and bright and the kitchen was well equipped. The heating was off when I arrived - which normally wouldn’t be a problem in Crieff in June but it has been a not great summer and the property was cold. It took me a wee while to work out how to put the heating on and then it took even longer for the property to heat up. The garden out the back was very unkept and overgrown which was a shame as it is a pet friendly property but the garden (which was one of the reasons I booked for me and my dog) was not usable. This is why I have given 3 stars. If the garden had been usable I would have given more. The bed was very comfy. A massive plus for me. The location is very central in Crieff so once I’d parked my car everywhere was walkable.

Bank Place was spotlessly clean, cozy and a great base for our 8 days stay in Crieff, it has everything you need including some tea, coffee and sugar, you will need milk though. You are a few minutes walk from the main shops and some great places to eat. You are very central to lots of places, just over an hour to St Andrews, Glasgow, Dundee and Loch Lomond, all of which we visited and thoroughly enjoyed. Closer by a visit to Drummond Gardens is worthwhile as well as the Visitors Centre. Thank you Jack and family for a very enjoyable stay.

A compact apartment in a great location for beautiful local walks and travelling further afield. A lovely comfortable bed and sofa - a little chilly so the extra heater was welcomed. It was nice to be able to take the dog but bear in mind, as described , there is no outdoor area to let dog out for a quick early morning comfort break. On the whole nice and clean, with the exception of the oven and oven tray, which I had to clean before I could use. Remember to park your car alongside the wall opposite property to enable neighbours to pass.

The location is ok though very secluded because no view. All blinded windows and houses or walls. The front door really stacks so without my husband I myself couldn’t go in or out. The bed was very tough. A topper might help. The shower and heating is well provided. It’s ok for a simple overnight stay. Parking is free on the street in front of the house but very limited. A payed parking is round the corner.

Bank Place is central to Crieff town and we had no trouble parking right outside. It was very well decorated, well furnished and clean. The shower and heated towel rail was very good. Although we had some problems with the hot water pressure and also the toilet seat was wobbly. Overall we enjoyed our experience and would recommend it to anyone who wanted a holiday in Crieff.

    Drummond Gardens

One of Scotland's most significant and magnificent formal gardens is Drummond Castle Gardens. It was built in the 17th century and is situated in Perthshire close to Crieff. In the 19th century, the gardens underwent a renovation and were terraced. The formal gardens you see today were recreated in the 1950s, but many of the original elements have been preserved, including the old yew hedges and the last beech tree Queen Victoria planted to remember her visit in 1842. Car park, accessible routes, refreshments, dog friendly.

    The Glenturret Distillery

The Glenturret Distillery is Scotland's oldest working distillery. Glenturret whiskey is still traditionally crafted by hand, as it was over 250 years ago. Several tours and tasting sessions available at the distillery. Shop, cafe, and Lalique Boutique Michelin starred restaurant. Free parking and WI-FI.
