What our customers are saying about our Dog Friendly Cottages In Oxfordshire To Rent.
Mrs Viveash - verified booking
"The people staying in the other two cottages were very nice which we appreciated, as you are on top of one another so to speak. We arrived to a generous welcome pack, wine, chocolates, cake, dog treats, plus coffee tea & milk so we could have a cuppa on arrival, as our Sainsbury's delivery would not be arriving until a bit later. Lovely flowers on the table also. Although surrounded by lovely countryside it is well placed for a quick drive down to Chipping Norton, the Aldi there is very handy. Great Tew is just down the road but we would not have walked there as all on the lane and cars did seem to drive quite fast along there. Also you can get to Broadway Tower (a must), and all the North Cotswold towns easily. Whichford Pottery is nearby. As regards cottage, it's very nicely fitted out, comfortable furnishings, very good appliances. The twin bedroom would benefit from some hooks to hang clothes on, had to use door frames and handles. Altogether a successful week."

"The cottage is beautiful everything you need is provided. Only needed to bring groceries. Gorgeous little welcome pack with something for everyone even the dog was there on our arrival. Easy check in and out. Quite easy to find. Lovely area and surrounding villages. We went to visit family but wish we were staying longer so we could do more exploring. The only down side for me was on one morning we were woken up early by builders on the building site and the boiler was really loud even when the thermostat was not on. The builders were only there once so it wasn't an issue after that. I would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to visit the Cotswolds and we will try to return if the owners will have us xx"

"Rose Cottage was a delightful place to stay, although slightly challenging to find as we were approaching it from the opposite direction to those given in the details! The cottage was well-equipped and comfortable and we received a warm welcome. Food in the local pub was too fancy for my taste but we found a great place in Enstone, about 4 miles away, called The Artyard Cafe, where the food was simpler but excellent and good value. We were within easy reach of Blenheim Palace, where there was a very good Christmas Craft Fair that we thoroughly enjoyed despite some miserable weather! Would recommend Rose Cottage, either for a weekend break like ours or for a longer stay."

"Good cottage, very clean, excellent shower, comfy beds, two chairs in lounge could have been comfier but Ok for short periods. Problem with the fridge/freezer, the fridge part apparently not working and only just kept cool by the freezer below. Brought to the attention of the owner who was unable to get an engineer out until the day we left. The other issue is the fire alarm in the kitchen is so sensitive that every time you open the oven door the fire alarm goes off. The solution is to take or buy a cheap shower cap to put over he alarm when cooking. Remember though to remove it afterwards!Handy location for several counties and the main section of the Cotswolds."

"It's a beautiful cottage furnished to an exceptionally high standard, even down to the kitchen appliances. It all feels quite luxurious but cosy at the same time. It's a shame we couldn't use the Aga for cooking as I find this quite exciting but not a big deal, the regular oven is extremely good. Burford is a lovely place to spend a few days, we sampled most of the cosy pubs while we were there (the food is exceptional in most!) The angel was a particular favourite of ours. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the area. We would definitely return without a moment's hesitation"
