"The Summerhouse was a little piece of heaven in beautiful surroundings. Peace, tranquillity, well designed private gardens with undisturbed views of the rolling hills, the Mogg Forest woodland half a mile away (Iron Age fort on the top) and west-facing fields around Wenlock Edge so a lovely spot to spend time in throughout the day, if one chose. Stunning evening skies with the lovely sheep gallivanting around in front of the chalet, even a black rabbit with the wild ones nibbling close by! There were lots of birds, including buzzards, finches, wrens, song thrushes and blackbirds, so anyone keen on wildlife in general would find this ideal. The Summerhouse had everything inside which one could need, sadly in June the woodstove wasn't needed, but that I'm sure would have made it very cosy for the cooler months. Everything possible was thought of to make the stay for guests comfortable, it really was 'home from home' and with the addition of delicious pure water straight from the spring. The interior and exterior were so imaginative and tasteful, it was certainly a place to linger and a shame the week went so quickly - it would be the perfect retreat for artists and writers as there was nothing except nature and wildlife to detract. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble, even a beautiful vase of wild flowers from the farmhouse gardens to greet us on our arrival. A big thank you to all concerned."

"This is a great location for a family get away. A new holiday let S2215 is well equipped and very clean and the beds are very comfy. We were very lucky with the weather and on the one day it rained it was great to come back to a lovely warm cottage. We had a fab time walking round the farm- there is a large pen boasting a wide variety of birds and 2 huge pigs round the back. We can't wait to return with our little boy when he's older so he can really appreciate the animals up close. S2215 is child friendly - our 6 month old and our friends 18 month old were very well catered for. The location is amazing, if you like being away from it all, which we did. Beautiful views and walks to suit all abilities, we even managed a few walks with the prams. Liz and her daughter Kim are brilliant. They made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. In fact all the people we met, whether workers on the farm or horse riders tending to their horses at the stables, were friendly and offered a cheery 'hello'. Liz even gave us a tour of the farm and told us about all the different types of birds which was much appreciated. I would really recommend this place if you want to go somewhere to chill out or even use it as a base to explore Shropshire. We have already booked to go back again."

"S2215 is warm, cosy, comfortable and clean. We travelled as an extended family with our little dog. The layout meant that everyone had their own privacy upstairs with two bathrooms and two very spacious bedrooms. The beds were comfortable too. The heavy beams give the barn extra character. Set in the countryside you are surrounded by widelife, many birds live in the hedge rows just outside the living room window. The stables are opposite and it was a pleasure watching the horses being tended to and ridden. There is parking right next to the building and there is a little garden to the front which will be lovely in the summertime. The kitchen is beautifully appointed and has everything you need including a big dining table in the middle on which to enjoy meals as a family. Shropshire towns are not far away, we enjoyed walking around Ludlow and Ironbridge. We also drove out to Hereford. There are also plenty of walks around Betty's itself so don't forget your wellies! Kim and her mum are wonderful hosts. We will return!"

"It is spacious, warm and cosy and the owners are very friendly and welcoming - there if you need them, but always respectful of guests' privacy. It is in a wonderful location and the woodland walks within the grounds were perfect for our dogs - keep a lookout for the intersting sculptures dotted around! The surrounding countryside was an artist's palette of wonderful Autumn colours and we were lucky with the weather which, although cold and crisp early morning, developed into days that were warm, bright and sunny - what a fantastic time of year this is to visit! It is within easy reach of a variety of interesting places, Carding Mill Valley and Gigrin Farm Red Kite Centre being our particular favourites, but can also recommend Ludlow Food Centre and restaurant. We would definitely return to S2215 and have already recommended it to family and friends and would like to thank the Vine-Kite family for an absolutely wonderful holiday!"

"My wife and I stayed with 2 close friends and our 2 dogs. We were very impressed with the size and layout of Bettys Barn. It was idyllic for us. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Great walks for the dogs in the private gardens/woods ( Melusine loved the ponds!!!) Very very minor matters prevent this from being a straight 5 star for me. No shower in 2nd en-suite meant going into friends bedroom to shower. Could one be put over the bath?? Could the cooker hob knobs be re labelled as worn off so no idea which is which and how high they are set (could be dangerous). No Wifi available which would have been useful researching days out. Although I understand this can be available in an emergency. Other than that really brilliant stay in this comfy and cosy excellently converted barn. Thank you"
