What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Church Stretton To Rent.

"Beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings with friendly and helpful owners. Our only disappointment related to the isolation - we prefer to be able to walk to a pub/shop, but a car was essential for such visits. This house would suit walkers or people arriving fully prepared for being cut off for a few days. We wouldn't come again, but only for that reason. The house itself and the area in general I would fully recommend. NB: one of our party experienced a nasty fall on the very slippy decking, which only luck prevented causing serious injury. We would recommend that chicken wire or some other form of grip be put down to prevent further such incident (on the area by the double doors)."

"This is a really lovely cosy and comfortable cottage. The rather tortuous journey on very narrow lanes can't be complained about and is a price worth paying for such a wonderful peaceful setting and fantastic views. The patio is a great place to sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunshine. We really appreciated the provisions Karon left for us and all the homely touches in the cottage. The only reason we didn't give 10 out of 10 under the heading of comfort and equipment was that we could have done with a few more mugs etc to save putting the dishwasher on as often. However, this is a very small point and really we couldn't fault it as a lovely place to stay."

"We picked this cottage initially because of its location in Shropshire and because we could take our dog. It was early October and we hit the weather perfectly. Lesley and Steve prestocked the fridge with a few necessities and we lit the wood burning stove ready for settling in later. But first we took a trip into nearby Church Stretton for an evening meal (fish and chips!). Shropshire is a beautiful county with some amazing sights and views which shouldn't be missed. There are also plenty of places to eat and drink plus good shopping. We take most of our holidays in UK and visit a different county every year, but I'm sure we will be back here before long."

"This is a top class holiday home full of character and fully equipped. Situated in a very quiet rural area with glorious views of the countryside. Lots of space for up to 6 people both inside and outside. Whilst not far from local villages the home is not close enough to walk anywhere so bring your food, etc with you. Only small negative was the directions to the property. It is very rural so plan to arrive in daylight as the roads are very narrow and signs hard to find. Have been visiting Church Stretton for nearly 50 years and intend to continue and would have no hesitation in booking S16760 again."

"Comfortable and warm with lots of character, and thoughtfully fitted out with everything you need, including a wonderful welcome pack of goodies from the helpful friendly owners. Near to the lovely little market town of Church Stretton with its individual shops including Mr Bun the Baker - great coffee, cakes and bread. The whole area is fantastic for walking, even from the cottage. If walking isn’t your thing, there is lots of interest within easy reach, Ironbridge, Blists Hill Victorian Village, Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Much Wenlock etc. Would thoroughly recommend."
