What our customers are saying about our Holiday Cottages In Cheltenham To Rent.

"Picturesque and nicely fitted out thatched holiday cottage. The cottage was very clean, and the small garden made a nice play area for young children. The living room is sufficiently large and comfortable for small children to play happily on a rainy day. It's in a good location for many attractions in the Cotswolds and beyond, and even as far as South Wales (very easy to get to the M5 at Tewkesbury). The village is peaceful and the neighbours were friendly and helpful.A minor let-down was the crockery and cutlery, which needed to be put through the dishwasher twice before it was suitable to be used (we had to buy our own dishwasher tablets). There was a more serious problem on our arrival because the owner had not made provision for us to receive the keys and continued to be un-contactable by phone. Overall we have fond memories of a lovely holiday at Thrift Cottage, and I would definitely recommend it. However we would suggest prospective guests to call the booking agent first and have them speak with the owner directly to confirm how you will get the keys should you wish to stay"

"Had a most enjoyable family get-together. (4 adults, 2 oldies, 3 kids 4,7 &9). Property is at the end of a farm track from a small village, so no pub or corner shop within walking distance, but supermarket 15 mins drive away. Lovely location great for walks (hilly) and bramble gathering. Cows and horses in surrounding fields provide interest. Baby pheasants everywhere.Property has been renovated, but now slightly run-down, which makes it more relaxing. Decent accommodation. Plumbing worked after initial problem with hot water solved. Good dining room and kitchen. TV and WiFi all ok. Good garden with tables for eating outside, but pity grass was not cut until day 4. Hostess responded effectively to any little problems raised. Would repeat."

"A comfortable and beautifully decorated cottage right in the centre of Winchcombe. Very comfortable bed, great shower with plenty of hot water. Open plan downstairs was perfect layout with our little ones and the enclosed pretty garden also ideal. Well equipped kitchen and Netflix and Amazon TV an added treat when the children went to bed! Recommend the 1mile walk down to Sudeley Castle and similar length walk to have a trip on the steam train up to Broadway, great not to have to get in the car a couple of days. Plenty to do within a half hour drive or less too and further afield but still under an hour, Warwick Castle is a brilliant family day out. We had a lovely holiday at Rosemary Cottage."

"Lovely cottage in a lovely area.Arrived at the cottage to find a welcome card and bottle of processo waiting for us which was a nice touch. All the rooms were a good size and very comfortable. I think a sofa I the lounge would be a good addition to a cosy room. The house is a in a good and quite area with the local pub a 10 minutes walk away. I would recommend a local restaurant called Safron Lounge in Bishop Cleveand it was about 5 minutes taxi ride, £6 and The Appletree Pub also about 5 minute drive.Cheltenham town centre is approximately 10-15 minute drive with excellent shopping!I would definitely stay at this cottage again, really enjoyed out weekend break here."

"On the first night we reported that approx half the electric sockets were not working. The owners responded by coming around within 30 mins but were unable to fix it that night and said they would return the next day but they never did, or did not keep us informed, so we had to buy an extension lead to operate our child monitor in one of the bedrooms. We found cooking utensils had mould on them. The family concluded that although the farmhouse is in a beautiful area with beautiful views and suited us (3 famalies, 8 persons) we would not return until the owners sorted out their maintenance issues. Hence we found that it was overpriced for what we got."
