What our customers are saying about our Open Fire Self Catering Holidays In Tenby.
- Mr Haigh, August 2018 - verified booking
"We loved all the little extras that are not mentioned anywhere, like in the kitchen - salt, pepper, cooking oil, foil, gravy granules, washing tabs for the dishwasher etc etc. In the lounge theres a hifi complete with a hookup lead for your phone, mp3 player - a Google Chromecast device so you can stream movies from your phone. Loads of DVDs and a good selection of books and games were also provided. The house is very convenient for the town centre and also Sainsbury's and the multi storey car park (£20 for the week) if you dont manage to find a free non residents parking spot. Also on the way into town outside Sainsburys is a bustop where its only 15 minutes to the nearby Saundersfoot and only £3 return, saves messing with parking. All in all a great destination and Redbrook makes an ideal home from home."

"Overall cottage was good and in good location, walking distance to pubs and restaurants, Pembroke Castle, and short drive to Stackpole, Tenby etc.Plenty of on street parking. Lovely bedrooms, nice little garden, but only 4 outdoor chairs and tiny table so no good for the group to eat outside (sleeps 8 people). Kitchen on the whole good, oven not working and rather dirty (reported to owner, so hopefully sorted now), only 7 dining chairs, so had to use a garden chair to eat off. Generally well equiped with plenty of plates glasses and mugs and pans etc, through frying pans all useless (burnt on by previous renters, so not the fault of the owner). Lots of games, maps, books, etc. High chair, cot, stairgate, dog bed (we didn't actually need any of these as a group of adults) all available."

"The cottage is in a courtyard, you will have 4 other families alongside. Children play area and a dog run right on site. Nook is cosy and has everything you need. Its a 5 minute drive to Pendine Beach, this for me was a highlight, secret beach a huge disappointment (not worth going to). Tenby a 20 minute drive.Negative: Bedroom upstairs, if you are tall not recommended. No on suite so a track to the toilet during the night (if you have to). You will use your car everyday.Another negative the local Chinese did not deliver. It has to be your type of holiday, for me it just did not tick enough boxes. For families that want to go on days out each day and have some outdoor garden areas to play in, its perfect. Cant fault the host on site, helpful and friendly."

"I was a little worried when we stepped into the lobby as there was work being done but it was a huge relief when we went into our Flat (5) as it was fabulous just like the pictures. The outlook is wonderful from the garden and walking down to the beach is easy and lovely. There were 3 of us, my husband, sister and I with our labradoodle Jess. Walking along the beach to Tenby was lovely. I ran, swam and took some lovely early morning pictures. It was a shame we were only staying for 3 days visiting relatives in the area. The only downside was a small shared garden but we didn't actually see anyone else while we were there. Also Jess had plenty of exercise by going down to the beach and the headland."

"The cottage was clean and the furniture and decor were lovely. It was in a perfect position for the beach and the town, with the added bonus of being really quiet at night. There were a few drawbacks though. We had to park in the multi storey car park and pay £25 for the week. It wasn't a major problem, but there was never any available parking on the street. The other major issue was the lack of bin facilities. We couldn't store any rubbish outside and the nearest civic amenity site was a couple of miles away. This was a real pain and we ended up having to keep bags in the house for a couple of days, which started to smell. If this could be addressed, it would be a great cottage for any family."
