"We have just returned from our short break at C17th Castle, and would like you to know how very much we enjoyed it. We had the castle all to ourselves and explored every turret! The master suite had wonderful views of the sea and surrounding countryside, and yes, we could see Wales too. The only company we had were two Easter bunnies munching their way through the grass outside, although we understand deer make an appearance from time to time. The castle was pleasantly furnished in a faded elegant way and the chandeliers were splendid. There was a high standard of cleanliness. The sheets were white and fresh and there was an abundance of towels for bath and pool. The pool was a good size and temperature and we made good use of it. It was possible to walk along the sea side which was accessed by a path to the left of the nearby golf club. We would recommend taking walking boots and trainers for rain/sun walking. Three major supermarkets are within a ten minute drive of the castle. We would like to make special mention of Neil who made our stay so relaxing. Last but not least we would like to thank you for this wonderful prize and your generosity in giving it. Our very best wishes to you all"

"A lovely cottage and we had a nice holiday. We were disappointed that it was advertised as having a pub within a mile, which has obviously been closed for quite some time as it is all boarded up - the property details need to be updated on the website to reflect this. Also the property is advertised as having WiFi and there was no WiFi in the cottage - it was possible to stand outside (or hang out of the window) and connect to the main house WiFi, but it is incorrect to say the cottage has WiFi because this just isn’t the case. There is also little to no mobile reception, so WiFi really is essential!Otherwise, the cottage is very comfortable and the hot tub was a big bonus point."

"We had such a lovely, relaxing break at Wagon Cottage. Our children were slightly bothered when we arrived at the lack of Internet connection, however it was soon forgotten when they enjoyed the hot tub and use of the pool daily! The converted barn is just delightful and we enjoyed reading about it. Owners Bill and Lynn were very friendly and helpful. Could of easily stayed for another week. Highly recommended 😀"

"Fabulous cottage with everything you need for a relaxing break. Phone signal is very poor (non existent) and WiFi is sporadic (ie only when stood by the kitchen window!), but if you can live without these, it’s a perfect location. Great walks right on the doorstep and Lyn and Bill are perfect hosts. Would definitely recommend and we hope to return again."

"Had a wonderful time. The cottage is fabulous and has everything you need. Owners are wonderful and lovely to get along. The hot tub is awesome as is big bath and wet room and heated floors. Comfortable beds as well. We would definitely come back again and tell others."
