"My situation is slightly different because I am in a wheel chair and although it stated accessible it isn't. If you are able bodied the cottage is fine and there is everything you need there, if like me you rely on your chair it is in my opinion of no use to you. I was able to get in as far as the kitchen but with difficulty, from there I had to use my gutter crutches with help which was very difficult due to the fact that I can really only transfer from position to position. I had to sit on a dinning chair all week because the furniture is far to low for any one with mobility problems. I had two able bodied people with me and they had no problems at all, they were also able to enjoy the garden which was very secure and good for the dogs I was unable to use that also because there are two high steps to get into it."

"This wasnt quite what we expected (expected cosy cottage) as was very close to owners home & even though they went away for most of our stay had they been there we'd have been uncomfortable. The bathroom & master bedroom could only be accessed through a twin bedroom which did cause privacy issues for our party. The TV system was complicated on arrival & even once we'd mastered it found it regularly didnt work throughout our stay & picture quality poor plus whirring of projector was irritating. The toilet didnt flush away everything every time & required using the toilet brush. That said we enjoyed watching the wild rabbits in the garden & the peace & quiet of the general location. For us it was a good base to explore the area from & visit family."

"It was in the perfect area for our needs. A short walk through beautiful Bute park to the city centre. Comfortable & quiet with all that was needed in the kitchen and lounge & bedrooms. If we return in the warmer months I'm sure we would use the patio. The walk through Bute park to catch the boat is an easy way to visit the Bay. We recommend the Bayview Brasserie, in the evening and The Potted Pig for Sunday lunch. The best roast dinner ever! Afternoon tea in the tea room just inside Bute park gate (Pettigrew Tea Rooms) comes highly recommended. For people watching a coffee at the cafe by the foot bridge is a must. Castell Coch & Caerphilly Castle to visit. Next visit must do Cardiff Castle, so much to see, need a day!"

"A lovely cottage and we had a nice holiday. We were disappointed that it was advertised as having a pub within a mile, which has obviously been closed for quite some time as it is all boarded up - the property details need to be updated on the website to reflect this. Also the property is advertised as having WiFi and there was no WiFi in the cottage - it was possible to stand outside (or hang out of the window) and connect to the main house WiFi, but it is incorrect to say the cottage has WiFi because this just isn’t the case. There is also little to no mobile reception, so WiFi really is essential!Otherwise, the cottage is very comfortable and the hot tub was a big bonus point."

"<strong>The property is down hill towards the valley.</strong> It is very peaceful and the outlook is lovely. We had our Son, Daughter in law and grandchildren. come part way through the holiday. They loved the animals and collecting fresh eggs from the chickens. If visitors want to see the Castles in the surrounding areas. Then go for a Cadw admissions Ticket, we took the 3 day one. The total cost was £27 for the two of us, we visited 5 Castles. It would have cost us a lot more if we hadn't been told about this ticket. I would like to say thank you, once again, to Best of Wales for their very efficient service and wonderful directions, how to get to the property"
