What our customers are saying about our Bank Holiday Self Catering Holidays In Snowdonia.
Mr Rolf Ruschemeier, Vlotho, Nordnhein Westfalen - verified booking
"We came as a family of four (parents and two adult daughters) to spend our Christmas days in Tan y Bryn and we had a very lovely time! It was exactly what we were looking for - comfortable, cosy and just the perfect place for a relaxed holiday. The landscape is beautiful, although it is useful to have a car to be able to explore the area properly. We brought most of our supplies, but the little shop in the village was also surprisingly well-stocked and the next bigger supermarket is just a few miles away. We spent our last evening in the pub just a few hundred metres down the road and had a nice dinner and lots of fun. We would definitely recommend a stay at Tan y Bryn and maybe we will even come back one day!"
Mr May, Coventry, West Midlands - verified booking
"Cosy and welcoming. Playground 20 metres from house. Close to places we wanted to visit, but away from the hustle and bustle. Loved the fire place in kitchen and lounge, nice place to stay with children. Great for adults, pub just across the road! We wanted to stay longer. Do not forget your mountain bikes, some great rides to be had. Safe area to store bikes in laundry or small courtyard. No shops in Penmachno, however you can get supplies in Betws-y-Coed, which is only a 5 minute drive away. We would definitely come back, we thought it was just lovely."
Mrs Ann-marie Lupton, Liverpool, Merseyside - verified booking
"The cottage is lovely. Quirky and traditional in a lot of respects without feeling old fashioned. We had exclusive use of a large garden which has stunning views. The location is ideal for access to Betws y Coed and Llanwrst. The owners were very welcoming and very hard working. Our dog played with their two lurchers every day. Our two teenage girls loved our holiday and want to return to The Stables very soon. On top of all this, we had Sky TV, WiFi, dishwasher and washing machine. What more could you want!"
Mr Stephen Lee, Rowley Regis, West Midlands - verified booking
"This was a lovely cottage in an excellent location. A beautiful sleepy little village. We were blessed with good weather which added to a super September break. There was a really good pub just 2 minutes walk away called the Ship Abroad with excellent food and really helpful and pleasant staff. There were lots of places to visit within the region such as Harlech, Porthmadog and the beautiful Portmerion."
Mr Brian Morris, Deeside, Flintshire - verified booking
"The property was nicely decorated and very clean. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was of very good quality. All the rooms were spacious and the lounge large with comfortable 3 piece suite and a leather sofa. On arrival we found that the owner had put a welcome pack of tea, coffee and red wine. I cannot speak too highly of this ' Holiday Cottage.' The owner and her family were very nice people."
