What our customers are saying about our Self Catering Holidays In Narberth.

"Very nice holiday cottage, very 'compact', but comfortable enough for us.Shower / toilet room very, very small. Radiators insitu, but not connected, the 'storage heaters' were the little electric gas filled radiators that did't throw out much heat (we went October half term, so quite cold). We lit the log burner every day, but again that didn't give out much heat as the logs supplied / bought from Gareth were rotten, so burnt away really quickly.Gareth & Rosemary were welcoming and always around if required though.First holiday cottage I have come across without any games/books in, there is a games room, by the children's play area, but if you wanted to play any of the games in there, there was an additional charge, and also no heating in there as it was just like a summer house. Even though we didn't expect a 'welcome pack', there was only half a toilet roll, and 2 dishwasher tablets available.Views and walks very good, and close to Tenby, and other activities for the children.Even tough I sound negative about the cottage, it was nice, and we did have a nice time."

"6 adults, 3 children aged 6-10 and 1 dog spanning 3 generations spent a great week here. It was our 3rd visit, because it has so many things going for it that suit our needs. Plenty of space; well equipped, an enclosed garden for the kids to run about in safely. The area is wonderful, with some dog-friendly beaches also suitable for the kids(Tenby South, Manorbier) plus attractions for kids(Folly Farm, Narberth swim pool, Dinosaur Park) and Colby Nat Trust and various coastal walks for the dog. Great pubs nearby e.g. Boar's Head, Lydstep Tavern(very dog friendly), Wiseman's Bridge. The Coop at Kilgetty is large enough for all normal supplies. The owner was very friendly and answered our only request(for more orange recycling bags), the same day. There were minor maintenance issues and some of the flush toi;ets were not great, but the showers and hot water were high standard. You have to be picky to find any substantive to complain about. Overall, a very suitable and comfortable house for a family holiday"

"After many years of booking several cottages a year there are only a few places that I would go back to. Sycamores is one I would most certainly go back to. I’ve also recommended it to others. The pictures don’t do it justice. The house and garden are a great size. Plenty of room. We were 7 adults, 5 young kids and 2 babies and there was plenty of room, plus some spare. So many bedrooms and bathrooms that we never had a problem. The double lounge also helped separate the adults from the kids when they wanted their space. The babies have just started to walk and the house (with all the stair gates) was fine for them to roam fairly freely. The house was clean and tidy and the owners were lovely. They are next door if needed, but we didn’t feel over watched or anything. They gave a fantastic welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and cake, which was really yummy. As I say, I would totally recommend this cottage and would go again."

"Tucked away up the hill and linked to main roads by typical narrow Welsh lanes the cottage offered a relaxing escape into the countryside. The end terraced cottage was very clean and well thought out with up to date utensils and equipment and untainted spring drinking water. The separate indoor swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi were immaculate, clean and a real touch of modern luxury accessible from early morning until the evening. Ed the host was a real friendly and helpful chap who had taken a lot of effort to make sure the facilities at the pool and within the cottage were top notch. Very informative and clear help guides, house book and things to do suggestions available to hand. Very good TV. Wi-Fi a bit iffy with speed to be expected and mobile signal rarely available, but who needs it on holiday anyway. Overall it was excellent and very recommendable."

"We've stayed in many self-catering cottages around Britain, several of them since we've had dogs, and The Stables is surely among the best, if not the best. It could not be more dog-friendly, and the location and surroundings are ideal with a lovely walk through the woods full of birdlife, straight out of the door and down to a stream, well away from the road. The dogs loved it so much they had us up at 6 every morning to go and do it - and very pleasant too, after the initial shock to the system! The accommodation is very clean and comfortable, nothing extra required and the welcome from Tina and Colin could not be bettered, with advice as needed on places to visit, some of which we'd otherwise have missed. Location is good too, being near enough to many places of interest in Pembrokeshire, north and south. Thoroughly recommended."
