What our customers are saying about our Self Catering Holidays In Hythe.
Mrs Gill Cameron - verified booking
"Booked now three times with Kent and Sussex holiday cottages. Each time have had great service if there in any problem it is deal with straight away. Watsons is a super family home right on the promenade so safe for the children. It has a small courtyard garden with locked gate, then the promenade and the beach, so no road to cross. The house has four floors the lounge being on the second floor with wonderful views across the sea. The location is within walking distance of Hythe town and the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railway. Along the coast is Dymchurch a wonderful sandy bay when the tide is out, with a small amusement park. Further along is Greatstone where there is the Lifeboat and a small café for coffee, Littlestone and finally Dungeness. Watsons is within easy driving distance of these places. I have already booked to go back next year and cannot wait !! "

"We had an amazing stay at this property. The views were spectacular, you could not get any closer to the beach unless you camped on it, and the local amenities were on our doorstep. From lovely walks, to dog friendly pubs and a quaint High Street, Hythe has it all! Griggs, the fish monger that cooks its catch, is a must - you will find it at the end of the promenade on the beach. Also, The Spitfire Cafe, which just on the way out of Hythe - towards Dymchurch, is a must for WW2 enthusiasts. Set in a mess tent, with music from the 40s and surrounded by memorabilia from the war years, Simon cooks a wicked breakfast. We will definitely be back."

"Following our stay at Watsons in Hythe last week, I must let you know how delightful it was. The property is magnificent, full of character and charm and in such a stunning location. The many individual and personal touches were very welcome and added to the ambiance. It proved to be the perfect setting for a family get together and was a truly happy week. Oh, to move in!!!!This was my first booking through Freedom Holidays as I have previously always had family connections in my home county of Kent. I am very appreciative of your whole service from start to finish."

"House right on the sea front with access directly to the beach. Super promenade right outside the back garden for children to ride their scooters or bikes or walk! fish and chips about 150 yards away on the promenade and the other way a café about 100 yards away. Small swimming pool by the café. House a great size on different floors with plenty of space and very well equipped a real home from home. Plus a realistic price for a weeks holiday."

"Hi We loved our stay at the Watsons. The description of the place was accurate, right beside the sea. You literally walked out from the front and the seaside is outside. The cottage was very well equipped and all necessities were given. A lovely welcome hamper was provided which was a really nice surprise, thankyou I would definitely recommend this place and possibly return back one day. My family enjoyed the stay, thank you."
