For days out, the beautiful surrounding coastline and the magnificent Snowdonia National Park is close by, with Harlech and its majestic 13th-century castle, now a World Heritage Site and the Royal St. David's links golf course is within easy reach. Barmouth is only five miles away, with its quaint shops, quayside restaurants and Blue Flag beach making a great day out for everyone. Snowdon itself is a 40-minute drive to the north and other activities within a short car journey include mountain biking, white water rafting and pony trekking.
