The walls are marvellously touched with up-cycled wooden shelves, incorporating luscious inset lighting to add a wonderful touch. You can even watch the River Aran trickle by as you do the washing up. The first floor of this superb cottage presents you with two immaculate double bedrooms, lovingly furnished and with fabulous attention to detail. After a day exploring the fascinating town of Dolgellau, indulge in a bubble bath in the luxurious family bathroom, a layout also featuring quirky inset lighting amongst the wood panelling on the side of the bath. A few short steps bring you to the centre of the town; the attractive streets are dotted with excellent pubs, shops and restaurants, which make this a holiday base of the highest quality. The Cadair Idris mountain sits close by for you avid hikers, while the Coed y Brenin mountain biking trail is also available. For a day at the beach, the popular seaside resort of Barmouth is close by with its soft sandy beach and stunning harbour. This market town is in the Snowdonia National Park, between Cader Idris and the coast at Barmouth. It offers a selection of shops, pubs and a wine bar, along with restaurants, cafés and bakeries. Nearby is the Coed y Brenin mountain bike trail and this location is ideal for outdoor activities with scenery, mountains, forests, waterfalls, castles and beaches.
