This traditional quarryman's cottage is surrounded by wonderful countryside and rests just two miles from the thriving village of Beddgelert, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Nestled down a quiet lane. The cottage is a 10 minute drive from several of the paths should you want to climb up Snowdon. Peniel Cottage is perfect for two couples in need of a relaxing getaway with lots of outdoor exploration from the doorstep. Decorated in a homely style, the property boasts character features and attributes, combined with a modern twist, forming a comfortable accommodation to welcome your return after a day exploring the area. Sink into the sofas in the cosy living room, finished with slate flagstone flooring and beamed ceiling, this space is perfect for curling up by the woodburner. Adjoining this setup is a dining table which offers ample seating for all to gather at mealtimes. Three steps down will take you into the airy kitchen, featuring a high pitched ceiling and lots of glazing to bring the light in, and equipped with several integrated appliances to ensure a pleasant cooking experience. The two bedrooms are well appointed with double beds and ample storage to store your personal belongings. Upstairs also plays host to the lovely family bathroom with elegant roll top bath so you can enjoy a relaxing soak to round off your evening. Should you prefer a shower to prepare for the day, there is a shower room on the ground floor. The garden enjoys a sunny aspect where you can sip on your morning coffee while contemplating the day’s activities; perhaps a walk up the surrounding mountains will be on your agenda? From the cottage there is so much to see and do in the area, venture doorstep walks and cycle trails or stroll down the lane to the Welsh Highland Railway station and catch the train to Beddgelert or visit the historic town of Caernarfon, with its iconic castle, harbour and selection of shops and tea rooms. This charming cottage is a perfect base for couples or families to enjoy all-year-round.

Resting at the foot of Mount Snowdon, Beddgelert is situated in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. A thriving village, it is built around the Afon Glaslyn river, just a short walk from the Aberglaslyn Pass. The Welsh Highland Steam Railway passes through Beddgelert on its way from Porthmadog to Caernarfon.
